Author has written 8 stories for Wicked, and Wicked. Currently on Hiatus. I have migrated to Teaspoon & Stories of Arda for reading purposes. Fandoms/Pairings I read: Wicked (no preference, they're both uniquely wonderful)-- I will read just about any pairing or genre, so feel free to suggest some :) Lord of the Rings (and any relations thereof)-- While I have many favorites from this fandom, I have not poked around it's section here on fanfiction.net for quite some time, as I have migrated to the Stories of Arda archive; however, I prefer canon pairings. Harry Potter--I seldom read these anymore, blame the fact that I grew up with this series and don't like it being messed with ;) Merlin- Being still quite new to the fan-dom I prefer canonical pairings only. By which I mean I am not quite comfortable enough with the characters to see them snogging people they really shouldn't be snogging (Arthur/Merlin for instance). Long story short: no slash unless it's incredibly mild and of the back-up-turn-your-head-sideways-and-squint variety, and I am incredibly desperate. Doctor Who- hooked on yet another BBC masterpiece. Prefer 10 Era (yes'm, I'm a David fan-girl), but will read 9-11. My 'Stories' (or un-beta'd pathetic attempts at fanfiction, take your pick): Glinda the Good- The second selection from my project postings. A 'poem' of sorts in the 'I Am From' format, done from the perspective of Glinda the Good and drawing heavily from 'Wicked' book-verse. This is my first attempt at writing Glinda, and I would appreciate any opinions on how well or poorly I did. I apologize for the lack of spacing between stanzas, I haven't quite figured out how to fix that. :( This one's for you, Lizzy-Liz. since you suggested I upload the remaining MGRP pieces. Secrets of the Sole- one of my personal favorites, and product of the lovely project that has consumed my life these past months. Most likely ridiculously overdone, but you are more than welcome to share how much you hated/enjoyed it. Flames are a wonderful way to keep warm in the winter. And Hell To Pay- this particular plot-bunny sprung up thanks to another author's wonderful work (though I can't remember who's at the moment). Aforementioned bunny then proceeded to drill 'the Scarecrow was all in pieces on the ground' into my head for three days. This was written in order to silence said bunny. If the inspiring author is in any way offended, the story shall be removed and I offer my most humble apologies. Melting Revisited- Okay, the fact that this had to be re-posted is entirely my fault; however, I have successfully managed to reincarnate this oneshot. Hopefully it turns out better than the original :) The description seems pretty self-explanatory; however, I wish to make it quite clear that I labeled it as a /slight/ Alternate Universe oneshot because I am fully aware that according to bookverse plot ( in both Wicked and Son of A Witch) Liir was not present for the demise of the Witch, but locked in the kitchen belowstairs with the Lion and Nanny. Also, having checked a Son Of A Witch description of his appearance, I know for a fact that he has green eyes. You may note that in my oneshot I describe him as having blue eyes. These deviations are entirely on purpose as I felt the need for them to have a moment together, and make his connection with Fiyero quite clear ( because let's face it, even Elphaba isn't entirely sure) making this particular piece non-compliant with canon, and therefore AU. I say this only because I have received numerous questions regarding these issues (Liir's eyes in particular) in reviews, and I don't want to confuse anyone. Porcelain- I honestly have no clue what to call this, a drabble perhaps? Really just an attempt at writing a MusicalverseGlinda PoV and break my long-windedness habits. I've written a few more, but would like feedback on this before I post (just so I know if I'm heading in the right direction...). Revolution- my first 'multi-chap' for lack of a better term, expanding on Elphaba's bookverse reaction to Nessa's death. That being said, I have tried to make this piece as compliant with canon as possible. It's a bit shorter than I was expecting, but it's nice to get back in the habit of writing for myself rather than a college professor. A Beautiful Lie- Yet another attempt to write MusicalverseGlinda. I'm not entirely happy with it, and it may end up undergoing major revisions to fix some of it's more incoherent spots. However, feel free to take a look at it and offer up whatever criticism you feel to be necessary. Luckily, some mini-ideas never made it into this particular narrative, they can be found in Checkmate. I also hope to get some BookverseGlinda on paper very soon. I loathe anonymous flamers. I don't mind if you hate my work, if you think it's trash, a disgrace to fanfiction, that's fine. You are entitled to your opinion, but at least have the guts to own up to it. I don't hunt down flamers, I simply politely ask exactly what they hated. It helps me become a better writer. If you hated all of it, that's okay, although I would wonder why you went through the trouble to read the whole thing and review it... I realize most of you probably will never read this. Maybe I reviewed one of your stories and fav'd you (in that case, I think you're awesome, and/or really, really want you to update your stories)? Anywho, happy reading/ reviewing/ flaming or whatever. If you like my stuff, that's great, if not, that's okay too. I hereby apologize for any spelling or grammar errors contained within this profile. Grammatical correctness have never been on the best of terms |
