An avid reader from an early age, I discovered fanfiction at the tender age of twelve and set out to create my own stories in various favorite universes. The results were generally... pitiful. However, eventually I learned to write, and spent some serious years crafting thoughts and adventures with the characters I loved. As of recent years my inspiration and energy for real writing wanes more than it waxes, however reading about my favorite characters is still one of my great pleasures. As any author does, I hope for readers and reviews, but I always try to keep my focus on writing for myself, not just others - that way, I can be truly happy with and proud of my work. That's not to say I wouldn't accept any plotbunnies dropped in my lap that tickle my creative sense!

My interests are, I admit, slightly eclectic. My first forays were into Knight Rider and Starsky and Hutch, both still universes I enjoy reading but now admit I'm not well-qualified to write. Other sources of personal reading delight include Tolkien's universe (for a complicated universe it truly is), Dukes of Hazzard, Airwolf, Danny Phantom, Star Trek: both TOS and 2009, and as of this last year or so I discovered both the X-Men and the Avengers movieverses! Check out my favorite stories list for a variety of fandom pleasures, with the exception of Vathara's work which is too numerous to list - I simply marked her under favorite authors. Her Urban Legends series (sadly no longer being added to) has to be read to be believed! Utterly delightful and highly recommended - the only time I think I can ever say anyone has truly made me believe in a multi-crossover (Airwolf/Stargate/Sentinel/and various) and made it work as a single universe!

I do admit to having a slight romantic bent - although few of my own works so far are entirely romantically focused, and plenty of great reads aren't either, I do have a few OTPs in various universes that I appreciate especially, and my stories will tend to accept those as fact, even if background fact. Depending on the characters involved, these can be either slash or het... it has more to do with the *people* involved than gender. These include:

(Dukes of Hazzard) - Daisy/Enos & Bo/Luke (I know they're cousins, *but*)
