It's been at least 100 years since I've written anything. I'm finally graduated (Bachelors and Masters), married, divorced, and have a full time job! That means I have enough time to devote to more creative pursuits.

ISO a good HP Beta and a Brit-Picker and/or Alpha! I'm American and sometimes need some help with my British conversations for my fics.

A bit about my Harry Potter Belief System:

- I think all the other character deaths make sense for continuity and believability, you could never convince me that Remus does. He is the ONE father figure for Harry that makes sense. Dumbledore is manipulative AF, Arthur has like 600 children already, and Sirius was reckless asl. So if ever I can avoid it, I won't kill him off. I'd also be happy to discuss why I find him to be a fascinating character, if you'd like to PM me.

- Trans Women are Women. This is something that I feel needs to be said. Although JKR came up with this text, she is still a flawed and deeply prejudiced human being.

- In my HP universe Hermione is (at least) half black. It always really disappointed me that they were all white.

- I always related to Hermione growing up (bookworm, strong social justice beliefs, curly hair), and was/am offended that Hermione and Ron ended up together. Not very many people meet their OTP at 11, and the idea that all three of the "Golden Trio" did is obscene. So in no world do I support a HG/RW pairing. They have NOTHING in common. That being said I'm not always Ron basher... He's "human" (in the way we know all fictional characters are) and therefor not bad, just not a good pairing for Hermione

- That being said my four preferred Hermione Pairings are:

- Draco/Hermione - something about the softening of rough edges, coming to similar beliefs and finally understanding each other really gets me

- Hermione/Theo - gosh there is just so much we don't know about him! He's soooo fun to play with! I also LOVE a Draco/Theo/Hermione triad or really any combo of the three!

- George/Hermione - HEAR ME OUT. George (and Fred) are brilliant. I mean like WILDLY intelligent. They have brains and creativity and aren't limited by some of the more structured ways that Hermione thinks. I love a fic where they are coming together to heal from the war and finding themselves at the same time.

- Remus/Hermione - They're meant to be. Something about the two of them being the same but different in different times... swoooon.
