Author has written 8 stories for Misc. Books, TV Commercials, Waltons, Bible, Another World, and Calvin & Hobbes.

Hello again! I used to write here as ProLiferChelle.

I apologize for my long absence, but it wasn't by choice.
My computer and I both had some serious health problems.
I survived, but my computer did not..

My health is good now, and I have a new computer, so I'm back!

I've chosen the username AlwaysARose53 because "rose" will appear at least once in every story, sometimes
as part of a longer word.

It's also a tribute to my beloved maternal grandmother, whose first name was Rose.

The number 53 at the end is because I was born in 1953.

I plan to continue at least some of my old stories, as well as writing brand-new ones.

I've removed "Difficult Decisions", but it may return later as part of a longer fic.

Warning: I love bad puns.

I may be using a new name, but I am still very much pro life.

I now have an account on fictionpress. My username there is also AlwaysARose53

Ashes reviews
This AU story (I'm sure Calvin's father wouldn't really have done such a thing!) was inspired in part by the legend of the phoenix, in part by Margery Williams Bianco's "The Velveteen Rabbit", and in part by a real-life incident. It was written in loving memory of Mitten, who should never have been taken from me. Calvin and Hobbes was created by Bill Watterson.

23rd Precinct Continued
This is a continuation of "23rd Precinct", which I was writing under my old username, ProLiferChelle. It picks up where that fic left off. Story arcs will begin and end, but this work will go on ad infinitum. Some changes to canon made for plot purposes. Occasional mild expletives. All characters not invented by me are the sole property of Procter and Gamble Productions.

In this fic, I explore a part of The Story About Ping from the viewpoint of the little boy on the house boat. Direct quotes, including those out of context, are marked with an asterisk. I've made one change to the original story for the sake of the plot. The Story About Ping was written by Marjorie Flack and published by Viking. My old username was ProLiferChelle.
