Author has written 2 stories for Kyo kara Maoh!/今日からマ王！, and Prince of Tennis.
All right, I figured it is time to dust off this profile thing and give it a fresh update. I am a completely sane mental case-- a little crazy with a touch of rationality. I suppose you can say all creative people are that way, maybe, or maybe it's just me. After all, what is normal but a societal construct? I refuse to fit into a neat little box. I am a self described crazy, stressed out, analytical, cynical, mastermind-- with ketchup.
I come from the great Pacific Northwest, home to endless coffee and endless rain, which gives me plenty of ammunition and time to write (and read). Especially now that I have kicked my University's butt and stolen my precious from the funny guy in a big robe... erm... I mean now that I have graduated from college. That is unless, of course, the real world gets in the way, but when have things like "practicality" and "responsibility" ever stopped me from living in a world filled with wonder? The real world is so boring compared to the one in my head. Forget a stuffy business degree, or an ungodly amount of time spent writing lab reports for uptight PhD's, I majored in English Literature!
Anyway, some people for whatever reason like to learn facts about their authors so pointless Q and A here we go!
What is your favorite food?
Tacos hands down with 100% meat. Lot's of meat. I don't do soy. Sorry vegetarians...
What is your favorite desert?
Cheesecake. New York Cheese Cake.
What is your favorite color?
Ahh... I typed color, you know for sure I'm American now! And, cobalt blue. Reminds me of dragons.
Do you have any pets?
Yup, one beautiful Husky who always wants to argue with me, and one old cranky German Shepard mutt who just wants to snuggle 24/7
What is your favorite fandom?
Hmm tough one. My love of Naruto goes way back to before I even joined this site. Harry Potter goes even farther back. I also enjoy Star Wars, although Star Wars fans would probably put me in a corner far away from the others because I like the prequels. Most recently I have really gotten into DC, probably has something to do with that film class I took which made me analyze a $* ton of Batman movies from the 60's up through today. But yeah, really love the Justice League and Young Justice. I could turn myself into a zombie on Netflix re-watching some of this stuff. And seeing as Game of Thrones is all the rage, and I've been in a black-hole called University completely adopted into the dark for the past too long, I just bought seasons 1-6 on Blu Ray so I might end up on that side soon. So, favorite? Changes with the wind.
Any hobbies outside of fanfiction?
I don't know, stories of all kinds in all forms are pretty much my life, but I really do enjoy hiking. I actually made it to the top of a small mountain over the summer. It was kind of creepy because basically at least one person dies up there every year. Spooky haunted mountain top. Actually, I kind of am a thrill seeking junkie. I've been bareback riding, dirt-biking, parasailing, rock climbing, and skydiving. Oh and I have studied Judo as a kid, and I am currently studying Kung Fu, for five years now, wow I'm ancient. That long really? Let me count... yeah five years. But, then again, there is no way you are getting me to go to a gym just to sit on some treadmill all day. That's like being in a literal rat race. I want to learn to kick @$$.
Are you published, like for real?
Yeah actually, I have some stuff published by actual publishers. Even if my spelling sucks and my grammar is atrocious and my punctuation is all over the place and... hey what are editor's for? I keep you grammar Nazi's employed... Creative people don't follow rules! If anyone wants to Beta my work shoot me a PM!
Unlike my original work, my fanfics are written on the fly. So, plot outline? What's that? I just kind of vomit onto the screen and see where it takes me, let my plot bunnies run wild and free. So, most of my fanfiction isn't my best work. Honestly it's where I go to experiment. See what works, what doesn't, that sort of thing. It's a great place to goof around.
