I began writing fanfiction as a young boy, starting with a novelization of Final Fantasy VII which was objectively terrible. I also wrote an FFX story about the Cactuar Village which was also objectively terrible. Since then I have written a substantial number of fics which range from terrible to actually pretty damn good (far more of the former than latter however).
Final Fantasy VIII (novelization) - I realize my record with novelizations isn't that great which is why I am releasing these books in their entirety upon completion rather than serializing them. The first book is in beta and available to read from start to finish. It covers the entirety of Disc 1.
Mario's Existential Nightmare - A strange little Mario-themed experiment I've been working on and will be getting back to shortly. Sort of a psychological thriller but with a world-swapping twist.
Dead or on Hiatus
Shinra Inc. And - The series that I have finally officially ended with the end of Season 6. I mean it this time, it's not that funny anymore and I want to move on to other things.
The Year of Eos - I am posting the last few chapters of Autumn Twilight shortly after updating this profile and then I will be done with this project. It had a very rough ending, I'm afraid, as recent events in my life have kind of tossed me about.
The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (novelization) - A very slow going behemoth I've been writing for some years now. The detailed retelling of the story has a massive cast of original characters (one for each race and story line). I add my own unique twists and turns to the story while still remaining essentially lore friendly. This project has been on hiatus for several years and at present I doubt I will ever return to it. Apologies to followers.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (novelization) - I had the good sense to officially cancel this one. It wasn't too terrible but apart from a few twists on some characters it was little more than a script lift and didn't really add much. I wasn't satisfied with how it was turning out and it was hard to write for a character who by canon has no emotions (of course they didn't do that good of a job with it in the game either to be fair!
These are the stories I've completed that I recommend you look into.
Score - An FFIX retelling of The Monkey's Paw with some really dark and gruesome imagery and solid characters.
Limit Break - An FFVIII disaster story of survival in bitter environs, and a disaster that nearly destroys Balamb Garden.
SeeD - An FFVIII A/R fic that dictates what would have happened if the group wasn't saved from the D-District Prison until many years after Galbadia had already begun its conquest. Solid action thriller piece let down by a bit of a rushed ending.
Wanted - A Wild Arms III piece set up to be a "fifth chapter" to the game, which combines elements of nature thriller and epic conclusion.
Shinra Inc And Christmas - Part of the aforementioned Shinra Inc. And series but I honestly think this may be the best one I've ever written. A great holiday story with a ton of humor.
