Author has written 2 stories for Ranma.
March 5, 2008: Yeah, I'm here. I know I haven't been updating at all. I've been swamped with homework and exams. I WILL post soon.
In the meantime, why don't you check out my new blog? this is it:
January 13, 2008: Hey all, I'm still alive and writing; I just put up another update a couple days ago. I am still working on my multicross, and I plan on posting this week, but this week is, unfortunately, finals week for me. I WILL get it up though.
For any I have offended with my reviews, I would like to say that I am sorry, and that I got carried away, but I am also COMPLETELY serious about errors pointed to by the reviews.
November 9, 2007: SECTION REMOVED DUE TO OBSOLETENESS; THE FIC WILL NOT BE WRITTEN OR POSTED
Now, on to the Bio:
My name's Ted, and I'm a huge Ranma fan. Out of all manga, anime, books, media, et cetera, Ranma is my favorite. I don't even really know why, I just like it. You'll most likely see Ranma crossovers here with other things I like. I probably will not write anything but Ranma fanfiction.
So far, I've read many fictions, all Ranma of course. Check my favorites, some amazing authors are there.
I would have to say that there are a few legendary authors:
Although I am quite interested in Fanfiction, two things annoy me greatly. First, the very many perfectly good fanfictions that are abandoned. Second, FIRE'S RETREAT FROM WRITING! I MEAN COME ON, he is one of the best authors I have ever read, WHICH AMAZES ME BECAUSE HE DOESN'T MARKET HIS NON-FANFICTION WRITING! HE COULD BE RICH!
I read on an outraged girl's blog that Ranma, Tenchi, and OMG are all male fantasies based on women chasing one man instead of the other way around. If looked at from an outraged woman's point of view, one could possibly see some truth in that statement. This statement, however, is COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY WRONG. These three mangas are NOT written to demean women and are NOT written only to appeal to men. They show men chasing after women in the same manner (Mousse, Ryoga, Kuno, etc.). In reality, these mangas are truly written to show a parody of the most extreme situations. Examples of this include Ranma's extremely high metabolism, How extremely peaceful Belldandy is, and superpowered and/or cruel martial arts styles and weapons (cat-fist, Tenchi-ken, Anything Goes, etc.). These mangas are written to appeal to both men and women, showing faults on both sides. Ranma was written by Rumiko Takahashi, a WOMAN! Why would a WOMAN want to demean women by writing about them in a derogatory manner?
Just to clear that up.
Ranma fanfiction, as much as I hate to admit it, is on the decline. More amateur material is being written, and less well thought out fanfiction is being written. We all fall victim to bad writing. It is good, however, that the number still grows.
Actually, I like multiverse crossovers. Though it has quite a corny name, I would recommend "Path of Chaos: Ascension of Supremacy." The author has written the enormous, masterful piece. It will keep you occupied for days.
SONGFICS, though I wrote one (and removed it), are copyright infringement, which is why I took it down. Don't write them. Also, DO NOT WRITE IM/INTERNET ABBREVIATIONS (like 'do u no y u r here becuz 2morrow is l8), they ruin the story. Use them in forums, but this is not a chat/AIM site. People like to believe people put work into writing.
For any manga/anime and/or fanfiction, the use of a mallet as a weapon is reserved for a woman in comedy situations. It is a slapstick prop. It is not a torture device, though it can be used that way to enhance fanfiction written exactly the right way (AKA a darkfic parody or extremely well-written darkfic.) ONLY FEMALES MAY USE IT. RANMA OR GENMA OR KUNO WITH A MALLET ARE WRONG. Well, Ranma could use it in his cursed form.
I just took down my first fic, and I agree with the reviews, however harsh they were, songfics ar copyright infringement. I have made the decision to take this down, since, instead of a Ranma to Bohemian Rhapsody, it was Bohemian Rhapsody to Ranma. I apologize if I have offended anybody, and I hope that having done this can make up for the offense. Thank you.
Also, I read the reviews on my new Ranma/Multiverse fanfiction and I agree that the prologue was rather short. But it was only a prologue. To any eager to see this continued, I will continue it, but it may take a while for me to post, since not everything will be as short as the prologue.
Thank you for reading, and also, thank you for Reviewing.
A wise man once said, "He who can do should do. He who cannot do should teach." I disagree. I say: "He who can do should do AND teach. He who cannot do should find something else to do."
