Author has written 12 stories for Janet Evanovich.
I'm a die-hard Babe fan; don't think there will ever be anyone to replace Ranger. Must be the whole Man-in-Black thing...I love to unravel a good mystery (would seriously love to unravel Ranger) I can't write worth a crap but dearly love to read, so I gotta get my fix by reading a lot of terrific stories from some really amazing authors here. In fact, it can be argued that I'm more hooked on Fan Fiction than Janet's books! *gasp* But then, we get to read so much more about Batman this way!
I've read every single book by John Sandford, Tara Janzen, JR Ward, Jack DuBrul & Kathleen Woodiwiss, all but the last by Patricia Cornwell, Lee Child, Clive Cussler (his Dirk Pitt was my hero before I "met" Ranger), Johanna Lindsay and I'm about halfway through James Patterson's massive collection as well as Sherrilyn Kenyon. I only recently started on Sara Paretsky (I think I spelled that one wrong and I'm too comfortable to get up to check the spelling!) Lisa Kleypas, Lara Adrian, Jeaniene Frost, Mary Jane Davidson, Shelly Fredman and Kay Hooper. I'm also just getting started on Jill Shalvis, Carly Phillips, Lori Foster, Katherine Garbera, Erin McCarthy, Lora Leigh, Cherry Adair, Dee Davis, Debra Webb, Julie Miller, Shannon McKenna, Laura Griffin, Mary Burton, Carla Cassidy, Carla Neggers, Catherine Mann, Kate Johnson, Stephanie Tyler, Kinley MacGregor, Rachel Gibson, Susan Donovan, Roxanne St Claire, Suzanne Brockmann, Lisa Marie Rice, Elle Kennedy, Denise Agnew, Jaci Burton, Suzanne Enoch, Marliss Melton, Dana Marton, Deirdre Martin, Annemarie McKenna, Shelly Laurenston, Stephanie Laurens, Christine Feehan, Rhonda Nelson, Gena Showalter, Cynthia Eden, Christy Reece, Janet Chapman, Molly Harper, Kate Johnson, Jo Davis, Karen Erickson, Maya Banks, Elisabeth Naughton, Paula Graves, Amy Fetzer, Pamela Clare, Kate Angell, Cindy Gerard, Bella Andre, Sharon McClellen, Susan Andersen, Shelli Stevens, Lois Greiman, Nina Bruhns, Catherine Coulter, Christy Craig, Leslie Langtry, Toni McGee Causey and JD Robb. I'm hearing really good things about them from people who share my tastes.
My other half & I own our own business (the only Hydroponic store in the state of Utah) so as the boss I get to play on my computer all day between customers. When I'm desperate for a new story with none forthcoming on Fan Fiction, I search out whatever stories I can find on the other 51 groups I joined on Yahoo (yeah, I'm an addict, so sue me!).
I just want to say Thank You to all the wonderful writers here in Fan Fiction. You really make my day when I look at my mailbox and see new chapter and story alerts from all my favorite authors. You also save me a buttload in buying books!
Recently I've delved into the world of erotica, and started writing some fics that aren't welcome here on fanfiction.net, so in the interest of complying with their TOS, I'm only posting those stories on one of the Yahoo groups, Babe Squad. To read these, your gonna have to join.
In other news, Lex (a legendary figure in Plum Fan Fiction) is creating a new website to house the multitude of Plum fics, since Yahell's been getting more and more difficult to navigate. When it's up and running, there's a good chance I'll be posting there as well. Until then...
Keep writing, Babes!
P.S. Even if you're not Shakespeare or whatever, it takes cajones to publish your thoughts, your ideas, and sometimes your feelings that you've put into your stories. NEVER let anyone give you shit about your writing. They may say "you're just writing words". Well, Bunky, I hate to break this to you, but that's EXACTLY what a story is; words. Words that are all strung together to make a story. It's how you put those words together that tells that story. YOU make that happen. Some people have wonderful imaginations and can weave a terrific tapestry of stories. If you're one of those people, share your gift with us. If you only wish to review, if you can't or don't wish to write, don't begrudge them their gift. If you don't like it, DON'T READ IT!! There's a back button on your browser for stories you don't like. Deal with it.
