I have a love hate relationship with fan fiction, which is why I end up writing it as well as reading it.
Disguise of Carnivorism: http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1366525/
For very bizarre Death Note AU's that sometimes are completed and sometimes are left in hiatus for all eternity as we realize what a bad idea that plot was. It happens. Other things are over there too.
Not sure when we're going to update over there, mostly because we have many things to edit, many half started ideas, and many things on my end that have to be written and I just keep getting distracted by my own work and real life.
All You Need Is Love has a TVTropes page. It's wonderful.
What I write:
I always get kind of twitchy with the genre settings here so I never know what to pick. Generally if something is labeled horror it either is pure horror or it's just vaguely creepy and not at all sweet.
If pairings are marked their usually is a pairing involved but it might not be at all blatant/be very bizarre. Such as Naomi having a weird maybe relationship with Light the hallucination. That happened. The truth is that romance escapes me, fluff definitely escapes me, and unless it's written very very very well I don't care about relationship drama. It usually has to mainly be about something else. That being said my status on shipping is that if you can convince me it works I will buy it, no matter how I may gawk at it in the beginning. I now support Hermione and Loki, Tom Riddle Junior and Luna Lovegood, and the very disturbing Sayu and Light because of this policy. If you're going to do it do it well.
My stories, in spite of all intentions, usually end up being about sociopaths, serial killers, ghosts, God, or gods. I also do a lot of deconstruction of regularly seen fan fiction plots.
What If? has been abandoned. It is shitty, there really isn't another word for it. I'd pull it down but for some bizarre reason I feel invested enough to keep it here in spite of my undying shame at it's existence. I can safely say that this will never be updated, ever.
Sands of Time has pretty much been abandoned. It was also shitty. What's bizarre about this one is that people don't seem to realize how terrible it is and ask me two years after I've given up updating to write again. I started writing, realized my plot idea was terrible, realized I didn't really like L all that much, and then completely changed my plot line half way through. I may update it eventually, if I feel guilty enough, so I'll label this as being on uber hiatus but do not count on it updating any time soon without a lot of pestering.
All You Need Is Love updates vaguely regularly when I'm not distracted by other fandoms. I have no idea how long it will be, it just keeps growing, like cancer. It will eventually end, hopefully.
God of the Machine will update, I just need to work on the next few chapters and polish things off. The trouble is it's getting to the point where it has a plot that vaguely deviates away from Death Note, so I actually have to start thinking for myself.
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and Lily and the Art of Being Sisyphus update around the same schedule which for now is vaguely a month apart for each chapter. I consider this fairly speedy, I don' t know how people update so fast, they must be ninjas.
One-shots will occur sporadically across whatever fandom I have a passing interest in at the time. I don't really control those, they just sort of happen.
Things I Might Write Maybe If I Have the Time and Effort (if you're interested give me a heads up because otherwise these will probably sit on a back burner):
A largish Legend of Zelda fic set in Twilight Princess but with Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time as direct history and Link as a god. Features a god like Link, destiny's chew toy Dark Link, a panicking prophet Zelda, the end of the world, and Saria.
A largish Princess Tutu fic in which Fakir by bringing Duck back into human form inadvertently sets off World War II and must live with the consequences of his actions. Possibly with interludes of Drosselmeyer's mysterious past, how Duck came to be, and much contemplation on the existence of God.
A Harry Potter and Princess Tutu crossover in which a now human Duck goes to Hogwarts because she has crazy magic and Fakir is hired by Dumbledore as Defense teacher because he is a manipulator of fate. Not sure what this would look like but I'm vaguely intrigued by it.
A Harry Potter fic in which Tom Riddle somehow winds up the brother of Harry Potter in present day, only he doesn't know who he is, can't decide on a name, and no one has any idea what the hell happened just that he's really scary for an eleven year old. But Harry loves him anyway.
A Twilight fic in which Jasper roams around in an apocalyptic nuclear wasteland caused by the Cold War gone wrong where he picks up and has a strange camaraderie with a human orphan Bella Swan and they search for something resembling paradise.
A Twilight fic in which a vampire Bella in the future builds incredibly human looking androids and contemplates the meaning of existence. (Blade Runner style).
A Death Note fic in which an adult, and much cooler, Near plays the role of Orpheus and goes on a quest to the Shinigami realm to bring Light back from the dead after realizing the Kira situation has gotten too far out of hand to handle.
