Author has written 36 stories for Warriors, and Harry Potter.
er, so, basically, the only reason I haven't deleted most of my fics (especially those old warriors ones, ohh god) is because I don't have them saved anywhere else and I'll want to see them again. Also, I know there are other people out there who like finding the fics they liked when they had just found fanfiction and had poor taste and want to see their old reviews and such. I just spent my last half hour [during 6/19/10] doing that and got super disappointed when basically the first person whose fanfiction I ever read, ever, had deleted all her stuff. Now I can't see my reviews from when I was a ten-year-old idiot who liked Warriors and thought chatspeak was cool. (Harry Potter is always a thing of pure brilliance, though, even if most of my fanfiction for it, uh, most definitely isn't.)
I write crappy HP stuff now and then just to get my personal canon onto metaphorical paper instead of letting it mindlessly sloshing about in my head, but on the whole my fanfiction phase is over* (I'm still a loser, though. It's not like I've finally gotten a life or anything).
[insert asterisk that ffnet for some reason refuses to exist here] 9/2011: Although somehow this summer I stumbled back into reading Harry Potter fanfiction? Not in any super intense fashion that could be properly classified as a 'phase' like a few years ago, though, and only on livejournal, really, because although there is good stuff here if you are willing to dedicate a lot of time searching for it, it's easier to find the kind of stuff I like there.
And I am still utterly at a loss to explain the popularity of "And They Thought We Were Wicked." Why am I still getting favorite notifications for it? You guys. It sucks. I find it physically painful to read. That is all.
