I have been in the HP fanfic community, and specifically the Harmony community, for about a decade, and so as you can guess I've read many millions of words of fanfics. Mostly I'm a total sap so I just read lots of romance and fluff with some adventure or action thrown in there from time to time. You can check out my favorited fics for a good selection of these. Pretty much all of these stories will involve a Harry/Hermione (AKA Harmony) ship. In my humble opinion, JKR wrote one of the most beautiful romances of all time...between two best friends...and then stubbornly paired off her characters with the wrong people for the sake of some silly epilogue wish-fulfillment. Fear not, though! In fanfiction we can rectify this silly mistake and play around in the great sandbox that JK Rowling built for us. Stories Written: 1) Flowers for Hermione: My first project.
