Poll: Should I re-write MR: Midnight Morning to make it better? Vote Now!

Author has written 6 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender, and Maximum Ride. Chasing Midnight: PLEASE READ!! For those of you who have noticed, I haven't been updating Chasing Midnight at all since July. There's a reason for this, as sad of an excuse as it is. I do not have time to routinely write or post chapters due to the fact that my only free days during the week are Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday. During those days, I usually don't want to just sit and write until my fingers fall off. I need to be in a certain mood to write, and I can't be forced into it or else my writing turns out crappy. Don't get me wrong. I love Elliot and all of his cluelessness and properness, but I just don't have the time any more to work on Chasing Midnight on a daily or weekly basis any more. I have all of the details for the story planned out, the outline written, and the plot known. Heck, I even have the general outline of the sequel written out! However, I cannot continue posting this story here without disappointing people with my timing, creativity, or quality. For this reason, I am sad to announce that I will no longer be updating Chasing Midnight here any longer. If there was another way, trust me, I'd do my best to try and take it, but at this point, I can't aford to find the time to work on it on a regular schedule. To all of those who read, reviewed, favorited, alerted, etc. Chasing Midnight, thank you all so, so much, and I'm so incredibly sorry to disappoint! And I would also leave it up unfinished, but I see no point in doing so if it's never going to be resolved here. Other than that, my mom doesn't like me posting original stories online, because she is determined for me to look into getting published someday. So I am also sorry to announce that I'm going to be deleting Chasing Midnight from not only FanFiction, but FictionPress, as well. As of today, here were all of the amazing stats I received for Chasing Midnight that I could never have asked for. Words: 61, 182 Chapters: 17 Reviews: 63 Hits: 1,967 Favs: 22 Alerts: 14 Again, I am very sorry to all of my avid readers. You guys were the best. - Saz, September 7, 2008 .::. Names I Go By: Sazzy, Saz, Riza, or “Hey you!” (I prefer the first three though) ;D Age: Yeah, I age…everyone does. Favorite Songs/Bands: As of right now, I’d have to say that some of my favorites are Animal I Have Become and Never too Late by Three Days Grace, No More Sorrow and Leave Out All the Restby Linkin Park, Paralyzer by Finger Eleven, and a bunch of others. Favorite Shows: I recently got into Moonlight. I love that show! The only downside is that I started watching it the episode before the season finale. Ugh. Other than that, I like to watch mainly the Discovery Channel, New Amsterdam, American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance?, and a few other shows. Favorite Books: Twilight and Eclipse, hands down! New Moon was okay, but it got depressing when Edward wasn’t there. I also just adore Maximum Ride. It’s right up there with my number one book/series. As of May 2008, though, my favorite series I've ever read is the Mortal Instruments series, written by Cassandra Clare. I've read the first two books (City of Bones and City of Ashes), both ofwhich I finished in at least 8 hours. Amazing books. I can't wait until March 2009 when City of Glass comes out. 8) Preferred FanFiction: I like fanfiction that is entertaining, believable, and just interesting overall. There has to be a really good plot, believable and likeable characters, and a twinge of romance, humor, thriller, or action. I absolutely hate it when people make their characters “too perfect”. For example, if a character was incredibly good looking, intelligent, wealthy, kind, attractive, and they had a bunch of powers or abilities. That’s just too much. Characters have to be believable and relatable to the reader. What I Like to Write About: Fanfiction wise, I’d have to say that Max Ride is an ultimate favorite of mine. I used to write a lot of Avatar the Last Airbender stories, but I think I may have “out grown” it. I still love the show, but my passion has moved on to other things. When I’m not writing fanfiction, I’m working on my own things. I’m currently working on at least three different stories. One is my very first vampire story. I started writing it around January in a notebook, and have only recently begun typing it out. I also have another vampire story that I may post here some day. The reason I’m writing the second one was because I was getting tired of seeing a lot of cliché vampire stories, not that I have a problem with it. There was always the insanely good looking vampire and the forbidden romance that blossomed between him and a huntress. My third story I started in the last week of April. It is a more realistic story about a young woman going through a lot of things, like abuse, poor living conditions, and a little bit of romance. It sounds out of place, but I think that the plot works wondrously. .:My.Original.Stories:. Okay, I know that I don't have many at this point, but I'm working toward adding more in the future. None of my fanfiction is listed here. It's not very original, seeing as it is FANFICTION, thus the name. Chasing Midnight Elliot is special among the vampires. There is a beast that dwells in his mind that threatens to take over with more force than a dozen vampires. Dawn is a young woman who has barely entered her twenties. When Elliot moves into the apartment down the hall from her, she is immediately drawn to him. But whenever he is near her, the beast becomes closer to breaking its mental barrier and taking over Elliot. He is intrigued by this girl and wants to figure out why, after three and a half centuries, the beast is acting this way around Dawn. Now the deadliest vampires known want Dawn dead, and Elliot has to save her. He never wanted to get too involved, but now he has to beat the clock to save her life...and her mortality. Dawn's Ring This is the ring Elliot gave Dawn in Chapter 11. Is pretty, no? :D .:What.I’:. Favorites Good Okay .:Favorite.Characters:. Jace (City of Bones), Mac (The Killing Hour) .:Random.Quotes:. “Meanwhile, I wanted to tell you that lately I’ve been cross-dressing. Also, I’m sleeping with your mom. I thought you should know.” ― Simon, City of Bones by Cassandra Clare “Just because you call an electric eel a rubber duck doesn’t make it a rubber duck, does it? And God help the poor bastard who decides they want to take a bath with the duckie.” ― Jace, City of Bones by Cassandra Clare “Nothing? Are you serious? Nothing?! That was so not nothing. That was far from nothing. In fact, if you put nothing and this, on a map, this would be the U.S. and nothing would be freaking China!” ― Jason, No Such Thing as Vampires! by Catt670 Even after I read the directions, I found myself stumped, because as it turns out, I would need more than just the box to make pancakes. ― Elliot, Chasing Midnight by me. .:Story.Updates:. Please go to my blog to see updates on stories, beta, etc. Chasing Midnight is updated on Monday's and Friday's .:Other.Stuff:. I own Adobe Photoshop Elements 6, and I just love messing around with it. I make myself all sorts of easy icons, desktops, and other things. If anyone was an avatar/tag I can make one for you, if you want. I'll do my best! Look at it this way...I get to practice my PS skills and you get a free tag! :D .:Holy.Crap.Moments:. Hehehe...moments I've had that I feel like goin' "O.O Holy crap!" or "OMG!!" and I thought you may find them interseting...somewhat. o. On June 5, Here's the Number Now FAX it to Me got between 330-400 hits...in one day! 0.o .:The.Brag.Corner:. I'm sorry...Sometimes, I feel the need to brag a little bit, but who doesn't? It makes us feel good to show off our accomplishments, and I don't mind listenting to others' as long as they don't make it seem like they're rubbing it in your face. So, without further ado...here is my own little Brag Corner. = As of July 5, 2008: .:Tags.and.Such:. |
