Author has written 6 stories for Remember Me, Twilight, Dark-Hunter series, and Harry Potter.
43 year old Harry Potter/Buffy/Dark-Hunter/Black Dagger Brotherhood fan. Actually, I'll write about anything that strikes my fancy. I've three kids, one of whom passed away 2 and a half years ago, twin 13 month old granddaughters, and a 20 year old van. FLAME AWAY. just don't sue me.
Okay, I didn't make much money, but hey I enjoyed it immensely. I briefly Beta'd and did administrative work on a small, now defunct Harry Potter fan-fiction site. I read voraciously and write for my own enjoyment and hopefully for those who are kind enough to read my work. I am currently working on something chronicling my 17 year old son's bout with cystic fibrosis and his double lung transplant in November of 2008, and then his passing in 2013 RIP JONATHAN. Also in the works, but on hiatus right now is a short story I would like an online friend of mine who has had work professionally published look at it. Wow that last sentence needs some work, huh? LOL.
For fun, I cross-stitch and have a TON of finished and almost finished projects hanging around. In fact, I have so many that aren't even framed, just sitting in a ziploc baggy. But it was something to do in the hospitals during my son's many many times in the hospital.
Favorite book is Dune by Frank Herbert.
Favorite movie is 'Yours, Mine, and Ours' the one with Henry Fonda and Lucille Ball, cause let's face it, the remake kinda sucked ya know?
One big pet peeve I have is when an author on here asks/begs for reviews but when they get an honest review they b*tch and moan and send PMs. If you don't want an HONEST review, put that up in your author's notes, something like "Hi, review my work, but only if you're going to shower me with compliments even if what I wrote is a complete piece of doo-doo." If I see that, I just won't leave a review. Do we have a deal?
Oh, yeah, another pet peeve: PLAGIARISTS!
RIP Cory Monteith. Gone too soon with so much left to do and show to the world. You'll be missed.
RIP Jonathan, my dear dear boy. Seventeen years is not nearly long enough and I hold you in my heart forever. Love you, Jon!
