You have stumbled your way upon my humble account. This is my creative outlet that sadly my visits have become few and far between. Writing has always been a personal release for me, and I never really planned on sharing my work. I am well aware that it is amateurish and could be greatly improved on, but that isn't the point. I'm not here to begin a writing career. I am here to tell a story, maybe not the best story you have ever read, but a story none the less. If I entertain just one person, then I feel my work has fulfilled a purpose. I never claim to be the best, but I write passionately and dedicate a lot to my work. I hope that this is express through my writings.
I suppose now you would like a brief background about myself, so you know where my writing stems. I am graduate of Auburn University. I hold a bachelor's degree in Public Relations with a Business minor. I was highly involved with Auburn Athletics, especially Auburn Baseball. I am about to take my first post-graduate adventure by working as a graduate assistant at ULM Athletics while working on my Masters in Communications. Though I am a major tomboy and obviously obsessed with sports, I also would like to the think I am definitely on the nerdy side.I mean I am the gal that owns a replica Darth Vader lightsaber and a Sirius Black wand (among other collector's items) to go along with my signed baseballs. I feel my writing always have the pursuit of love at the core. I've spent my life in the pursuit of the same thing, like I feel most of us do, and have suffered many defeats. I finally found the person I strongly believe I was meant to be with, but due to some complications with distance, our happy ending isn't here yet, but I can always write one.
Writing is a true pleasure for me, though it is depressing that I have so little free time to writing as consistently as I once did. With college courses, work related things, and graduation looming in the future, life takes over and my reality breaks are so sparse. Though I am proud to say after a large labor of love and a four year on and off process, my first fiction is finally complete. Wounds Heal, but Scars Remain is officially finish. Though I will never be entirely happy with it. I always find things I wished I could change, but it is complete. If you have not given it a read, I do hope you give a chance. This story means so much to me, and I hope you enjoy it as well.
Since Wounds Heal, but Scars Remain is officially over, it is now time to begin another adventure in the fan-ficition world. I have several ideas bubbling under the surface, and I would like to give you a brief ideal of what the future will look like. As far as concerns to the future of Cassidy Williams in Gotham ...I do plan to make the story a trilogy. I plan to write a sequel following The Dark Knight Rises storyline, exploring Cassidy's relationship with John Blake. I also plan to write a third and final story, returning the Joker. The first official chapter of Holding out for a Hero has been posted.
I know that I do not post a regularly as most of you would love, and I strongly apologize for that. I do not plan t abandoned Cassidy Williams story, but I have been struck with an idea for a Harry Potter fan-fiction and will likely be posting a few chapters to see where everyone stands on the idea and plot. If the reviews are favorable I will continue to venture into that world. I will also try to updated Holding Out for A Hero more often as well.
Please keep in mind that my future work schedule will cause my time to write to shorten and it may not be updated as quickly as you would like, but I promise to finish any and every story that I do post.
