Author has written 5 stories for William Gibson, Metro 2033, and Final Fantasy VII.

I was dissatisfied with the ending of the videogame CRISIS CORE, so I wrote a new one. This is a full novelization of the game with NEW, EXPANDED, and ORIGINAL story concept, character development, and lore. I am deviating from the set cannon in order to fix plot-holes, allow for cohesive storyline, and overall make sense. I am also changing the target audience to be for mature readers. This story won NANOWRIMO2014, I hope you enjoy it.

If there is enough interest I plan to remake this story as a game in RPG MAKER.

Since I have made overwhelming alterations to a story that an overwhelming amount of people are familiar with, here is a short summary of things I've changed in concept.

Full ground-up alteration of the game universe and story arc

Full 360 degree Character Development and backstory of each character in addition to new ones

Complete scrap and rewrite of everything that happens after the level titled JUNON

Complete scrap, redev, and reskin of the character AERITH

A relationship development between the character ZACK and his girlfriend

Slight deviation and redevelopment of the character CLOUD

Expansion of the “Nibelheim Massacre”

Transition of primary antagonist from Sephiroth to Genesis

A full 360 degree development of the character SEPHIROTH

Merged Universes from multiple Final Fantasy games—the inclusion of Lightning and Noctis into the FF7 storyarc (with a complete scrap of everything after FF12).

Original lore—stepping away from NOVA CRYSTALLIS

Implementation of actual philosophy from sources including Musashi and Marcus Aurelius

An experimental piece in the same universe as "Ch0023r." Diode-tripping through cyberspace and the imagery invoked along the way. This seemed like more of what WG was going for in terms of futuristic user-interface.
