Author has written 1 story for Game of Thrones.

I was fourteen when Return of the Jedi was released, and even then I knew something was terribly wrong. The first third of the movie has nothing to do with the plot of the remainder of the film, Han Solo has no character arc, Lando has no personality, Vader inexplicably no longer wants Luke to help him overthrow the Emperor, and the reveal of Leia's true identity changes her destiny not at all.

Ever since then, when I become a devoted fan of something, only to be let down by the resolution, I felt that it is not enough to just criticize. One should at least do the work to come up with an alternative.

The most involved I ever became was rewriting the final season of Lost. Yet not until now have I ever taken the time to actually type it all up(Thank you, CoViD-19).

I don't know if this is the right venue for this, but I think this is entertaining enough, particularly for those that have read the books, to justify your time.

When possible, I used plotlines from the books. However, Arya's twist is based on an internet prediction I read years ago, albeit one that never did play out on the show.

Comments are not only encouraged, but desired. However, please focus not on what you wish had happened, but only what works as better story-telling.

If you're like me, the real benefit is closure for the loss of something you loved. Thank you.

How to Fix Game of Thrones, 3 Years Later - An Alternative Adaptation reviews
An episode-by-episode, scene-by-scene outline of the last four seasons with changes italicized. While new scenes are detailed, original scenes are lightly summarized. Probably best read season-by-season. Fans of the books will recognize some plotlines. Final version gives Tyrion a better arc for the show's latter half. Hopefully this is the last time that I tinker with this project
