Author has written 22 stories for Pokémon.
9/7/13 - On a random note, I was looking through some of my old stories, and came across my "Not Okay" story from like years ago and guess what I had in the first line of that story? "Everybody always asked if I was okay. They've been asking that since the Grand Festival. Since I lost, coming in second place." I wrote that story BEFORE Dawn's grand festival episodes, and Dawn DID come in second place. Can you say PSYCHIC, much? xD That was the only psychic-like thing I predicted though, haha. Everything else in that story, not so much. Just thought that would be an interesting thing to share, haha xD
9/6/13 - That awkward moment when you start a story, and then months/a year later, you reread what you wrote, and you realize you have no idea where you were going with that story... this is why I usually outline my stories. /8
9/4/13 - Not dead. No need for any R.I.P.'s for TbiF :p and just for the record, I'm still alive, being the biggest ikarishipping fan, and whatnot just been busy with friends and summer trips and being social (friends, so demanding D: ). In other news, I WILL be posting a new story that I have been working on for the past half-decade (not even kidding...). When? No idea. I might not even post it until next summer... I'll probably cave and post it before then, but hey, who knows :p
4/17/12 - Still not dead, still just busy, especially with state testing and the end of school and finals coming up and stuff. :P Anyway, sorry for the inactiveness (if anybody is even reading this...). I am ALMOST done with the last chapter of Diamond and Pearl I just need to write the last two scenes. )X Oh, and then check it for mistakes and stuff...but I may just skip over that because I'm lazy like that... :p Also I've been working on a gazillion near one-shots that are like almost-finished, half-finished, or isn't close to half-way finished. xD Hopefully I'll have a few of those one-shots up sometime soon too. xD Watch, after about a year of inactiveness its gonna be like BOOM and my stories will be everywhere! (Not really, I just mean they'll be a lot... well, maybe. Hopefully).
9/13/11 - Okay, so got my computer troubles fixed! (For the most part anyways...) I am currently having a storyblock with the rest of the last chapter of "Diamond and Pearl" so don't expect any updates from that anytime soon. To make up for my last of updates and ikarishippiness though, I am currently working on two new oneshots: "A Dying Flame" and "A Girl He Once Knew". Very, very, very short previews can be found below! ;D
PREVIEW OF CHAPTER FIFTEEN (Living Horror Story), HORRORS OF CAMPING:
“No, no, that’s not what I meant—“ he swore, waving his hands in front of his face. “Gosh, Dawn, you are so—“
“So what?” she asked. She was glaring at him now, standing up, with her hands on her hips.
Kenny couldn’t finish that sentence.
“Why do you care anyway who I like?” he asked. He was glaring back at her now. “Because then I’ll finally stop liking you? Because hey, if I like someone else, say, Zoey, then I’ll finally be out of your hair? Is that it, Dawn? Is that why you’re so concerned with who I like?”
Dawn was shocked by this question. “Of course not! I—“
“What? You didn’t know all this time I liked you? Or that I still liked you? God, you so readily believe everything someone tells you as long as it’s beneficial for you—!“
“That is not true—“
“Yes, it is!” He yelled back. He was frowning now. A few heads turned their way, but then they shrugged when they saw it was only him and Dawn and went back to what they were previously doing.
Except one person. Zoey.
PREVIEW OF CHAPTER FOUR, FIVE SENSES:
PREVIEW OF CHAPTER 16, ANGEL OF A GIRL NAMED KOKORO:
A Girl He Once Knew Preview:
"Do you need something?"
The girl stared at him, her eyebrows knit together. Pursing her lips, she turned away.
The girl turned back to him, waiting for him to continue.
"You just remind me of somebody."
He had thought for a few moments she had possibly finally gotten over Ash. Wrong again. He had thought for a few moments she had developed some feelings for him, some real feelings. But he was wrong again.
No, she would never get him. She would never like him like she liked Ash.
But why the hell should he care?! Who cares if she never got over Ash, Ash didn’t feel the same way back. Ash was with Misty, Misty was his girlfriend. She couldn’t change his feelings for her no matter how much she wishes she could.
Chasing Fairytales Preview:
“Has anyone ever done this,” he whispered, and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her closer to him.
“Well, um, no. Not exactly,” she responded.
“How about this,” he whispered, and this time he cupped her cheek and chin in one hand and turned her face so it was closer to his.
“No,” she breathed, her voice a choked whisper.
“If you want me to stop, just tell me, and I will stop,” he told her, his voice soft.
In her mind, she comprehended his words and its meaning. Tell him to stop, and he would. Tell him to stop and her first kiss would be safe. She would just have to tell him to stop.
But as his lips came closer to hers, her mind went blank and the words were lost on her tongue. All she could see were the skin on his face and his lips. It was as if the world going in fast-forward, but her mind was going in slow motion. As his lips touched hers, she wasn’t even sure if her eyes were open or if she had closed them.
She couldn’t concentrate on anything but those lips that were on hers. They were soft and tasted of nothing… Was he moving his lips, or was she moving hers? Or were their lips just pressed against each other?
She was acutely aware of a part of her that wished they were his lips pressed against her. A part of her that wished he had been her first kiss.
Horrors of Camping: Four girls went to camp not knowing what they were getting into. Now the girls have to decide what is scarier: the rumored monster, the haunted campground, or falling in love? Ikarishipping, Contestshipping, Pokeshipping, & Shootsdownshipping with slight Handymanshipping & possible others.
Touched by an Angel: After a tragic accident, Dawn is forced to start over, this time as an archangel for a man in her past, a man she hardly got the chance to know, the last man to see her alive... With their fates now intertwined in the most unexpected of ways, she must now protect Paul from the dangers of the pokémon world - and himself. Ikarishipping!
Reality for Parents: Years after an unexpected marriage, Dawn and Paul find themselves parents-to-be. Difficulties and challenges arise for the two, and with obstacles in their path, Dawn’s and Paul’s love and devotion for each other will truly be tested. Ikarishipping! (Title may change...when/if I think of a better one). Loosely-based sequel to Pretender's Fairytale.
[OTHER POSSIBLE CHAPTER STORIES IDEAS]
Ambitious: He was an ordinary boy with ambitions as big as the world, but then he meets up with a girl from his past again along with old troubles. As relationships heat up, new fears surface and old ambitions begin to fade… Ikarishipping!
Faux Diamonds and Cheap Gold: AU. Contestshipping & Ikarishipping. They met them over summer break. They hung out and unexpectedly, they fell in love. As it turned out though, they were not everything they pretended to be.
The Marionette: When did she become this way? That's what everybody's asking. That blue-haired angel now wears devil horns with strings attached. Maybe an unlikely somebody will cut the strings and help her into the light once more. Ikarishipping! Dark fic. RATED M.
Bonnie and Clyde: She was young and beautiful; he was a man who had been wronged. She had her whole life ahead of her; his had already been thrown away. She threw hers away so she could be with him; he promised to always love her for that. Together, side by side, they would die. Ikarishipping! RATED M (or possibly T, depending on how much I want to base this off the Bonnie and Clyde story 8D).
Your Sweet Delusion...: Told from Ash's point of view. Dawn and Paul had only been married for about a year when Ash drops in to check on Dawn. He knows immediately something is wrong. Dawn is not there and Paul is acting strangely... //Ikarishipping//
A Girl He Once Knew: It's amazing how even the slightest resemblance in someone can conjure up memories of a girl Paul never really knew. //Ikarishipping//
Just A Friend: Three girls, three totally different girls; and Ash rejected them all. “Let’s just be friends”, he said, even to the one he loved. But, after getting rejected by a friend, it’s never the same. Pokeshipping, one-sided Pearlshipping and Advancedshipping. With DawnxPaul and DrewxMay.
\[FLAVESCENTSHIPPING ONE-SHOTS] (that I just possibly might never write, but hey, you never know)
(because I recently decided it's my BW OTP and that I like the idea of a cute tomboy (AKA Iris) and some snooty pretty boy (sorry, but he reminds me of one for some reason, haha) photographer (AKA Shooti) together XD).
Where the Wild Things Are: He thought it was a new pokémon. He had high hopes that it possibly could have even been a legendary. He should have known better though. After all, what the heck kind of legendary has hair that wild?! Flavescentshipping!
Caught on Camera: Nobody will know but us, he promised. Flavescentshipping!
Blank Photographs: In that photo she looked so alive. It was quite ironic, really. Flavescentshipping. Angsty.
[Will write these once some BW episodes with them come out in English, and I get a better understanding of their personalities and everything. Maybe].
PREVIEWS FOR FUTURE STORIES:
"Reality for Parents" Preview:
The brunette’s head snapped up at the sound of the blunette’s voice, and Dawn was surprised by the mistrusting look Hilda gave her. Dawn frowned, a weird feeling settling over her.
“Hey…have class started yet?”
Hilda didn’t answer her question. Instead she ignored it, her voice loud and shrill as she demanded, “Is this true?”
“Huh? What are you talking about…” Dawn’s voice trailed off as she saw the newspaper Hilda held up for her to see.
Dawn felt goosebumps crawl along her arm as she saw the headline, in all caps and bolded, a coldness settling over her. Unconsciously, she felt her hands settle over her stomach as if to protect the unborn child from the secret that screamed the truth for all the public to read.
No! No! It can’t be! That was years ago, how can anybody know about that? Dawn thought, terrified by the printed words.
Already she could see her nearly perfect world crumble before her. Already she could see the drama that would unfold, and the strain it would put on hers and Paul’s life. Hers and Paul’s and their baby’s perfect life, shattered, thanks to one stupid headline that knew too much.
Suddenly Dawn was aware of the gazes of all the other students and the teacher on her.
The headline read:
DAWN BERLITZ AND PAUL SHINJI, IS THEIR ROMANCE NOTHING BUT A FAKE? DID THEY MARRY JUST TO GET PUBLIC APPEAL? THE TRUTH COMES OUT!
Additional Information About Story: Reality for Parents will mainly be a sweet, fluffy fic for a great portion of the story with possibly some drama thrown in. Note: The above preview may not even appear in the story. It all depends on whether or not I decide on if I want this story to be a loosely-based sequel to Pretender's Fairytale or not. If it's loosely based, I won't add the conflict I have planned that concerns a scam with Dawn, Paul, and the press, that way readers who haven't read Pretender's Fairytale will still be able to understand the story and everything going on. Even if I do add the scam thing with Paul and Dawn, it'll still end up being mainly a sweet, fluffy story revolving around Dawn's pregnancy and some time after the baby is born. It will also contain friendship though and some other minor ships. ;]
"Horrors of Camping" Preview:
Feeling strangely peaceful and content, she began to swim back towards the surface.
Suddenly, something cold and slimy grabbed her ankle and jerked her back. Dawn's eyes widened in panic and she began to kick furiously, trying to swim back to the surface, to escape the cold grip of whatever grabbed her. The grip on her ankle continued to pull her back. More cold, slimy hands grabbed her legs, pulling her back.
Hands that were cold and slimy, as if they were made of seaweed. She began to kick more furiously, thrashing her arms toward the surface as she struggled to escape the hands.
Who was pulling her down? Were they trying to drown her or something?
Dawn glanced back her shoulder to see who was grabbing at her, and her eyes widened even more.
No one was there. Nothing was holding her down.
Yet she could feel them on her, like seaweed wrapping itself around her legs, cold, wet and slimy. But there was nothing there. Nothing holding her back as far as she could see.
Her lungs were beginning to ache from holding her breath too long. Her head was beginning to feel heavy from all the water in her hair, and she was beginning to feel numb all over. She felt frail, weak. Even so, she kicked; weakly, but it was still something.
Her lungs feeling ready to explode, Dawn finally released her breath of air and gasped, gasping in water rather than air like she would have liked.
The cold hands continued to pull her down, down, down… down to the bottom of the lake, down to drown, down to die. Pulling her down so she would be nothing but a skeleton on the bottom of a lake.
Finally, her legs and arms stopped moving and she was perfectly still. Not breathing. Her throat raw from swallowing mouthfuls of water. She watched as the charm bracelet she had made when she first got to camp slipped off her wrist and began to float to the top. She watched, feeling nothing. She was numb all over.
Her vision faded to white.
Additional Information About Story: Horrors of Camping will mainly revolve around May, Dawn, Misty and Zoey as counselors at this camp called Camp Scarlet which is located in the mountains and is coated by forests with a beach a few miles off. Despite that this story's second genre is horror, it won't really be centered around horror that much. This story will mainly contain romance between Dawn and Paul, May and Drew, Misty and Ash, and Zoey and Kenny, with most of the romance taking place while they direct the camp's activities. This story won't be all romance though. The story's setting will have a backstory (I feel so unoriginal! xD;) which will tie into the "horror" part of the story.
"How do you suppose we get that one kid?" Ruby questioned, her white work boots making a squishing sound on the grass as she walked back and forth. "Every other time we attempt to capture him, he fights us with his damn pokémon."
Keith was silent for a minute.
"If we disable him from his pokémon, it should be easy to capture him," he told her.
"Yeah, it would be," Ruby responded, a scowl gracing her pale features. She glared at the grassy floor as she continued to pace. "But then that blue-haired girl would just get in the way, and her pokémon are pretty powerful themselves."
"True…" Keith mumbled.
The two remained silent, both deep in thought. Abruptly, the tapping of Ruby's white high-heeled boots against the grass floor stopped as she halted in front of Keith. Her dark-haired partner glanced up at her, raising an eyebrow.
"I got it!" she exclaimed, her fire-red eyes bright. "We have to capture the girl! You see the way that boy acts around that blue-haired girl! He's protective of her and always saving her and stuff! I bet that is his girlfriend or something!"
At first Keith frowned, but then a small smile found its way to his face as he realized what she was saying.
"Capture the girl, lead her to our headquarters and the boy will follow to save her, and then… he'll be ours."
"And then the prophecy will be fulfilled and then we'll be the boss's top team! Not Cassidy and Bob, us! Ruby and Keith! And we'll get raises and everything will be perfect!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling in the dim moonlight that leaked out from clouds that covered the moon. "It's the perfect plan, Keith! Absolutely perfect! We just have to capture the girl successfully and then he's ours and so is the raise!"
"Except one thing," Keith interrupted. "There's just one flaw: we've captured the girl by accident plenty of times before, and his pokémon had always defeated us. The only way we could successfully kidnap her was if they were separated. So… how do we separate them?"
There was silence except for the singing of kricketots in the distance. And then Ruby smiled, her eyes glistening wickedly.
"I don't think we have to…" she told him, her voice barely above a whisper.
Keith was about to ask what she meant, but then she pointed. He followed the path that her finger pointed to and his grin soon matched hers as he saw the lone figure in the distance of a girl with dark blue hair and matching blue eyes, not a plum-haired boy in sight.
"Bonnie and Clyde" Preview:
He lunged from his hiding place between a few bushy shrubs and grabbed her wrist, forcefully holding it behind her back; he placed a hand over her mouth to muffle her screams, and then dragged her back to his hiding spot before could notice them. She attempted to kick and thrash at him, but she was helpless.
Once they were back in cover, he released his grip on her wrists and grabbed her shoulder, swinging her around to face him, his hand remaining over her mouth so she wouldn't blow their cover.
"Paul!" She gasped between his fingers, eyes now wide and fearful.
It was obvious by the fear evident in those ocean-colored eyes that she have heard the stories being told about him: the stories about his brutal murders to all those poor workers in Floaroma Town and Veilstone City.
She began to squirm in his grip and her muffled screams started getting louder. His grip on her shoulder tightened, and his nails began to dig into the corner of her mouth. She continued squirming, desperate to free herself of her friend's old rival's grip.
He looked down at her, eyes cold and commanding.
"Keep it down!" he hissed.
Her desperate, muffled yells only got louder.
"I'm not going to hurt you!" he hissed.
Just then, he saw a shadow passed by and his body froze. He looked up to see somebody he didn't know pass by, unaware of a man and a woman hiding behind the large shrubs. His fingers dug deeper into her, his hand pressing closer to her mouth, desperate for her to keep quiet so they he wouldn't be found.
He waited until the stranger was out of sight before turning his eyes back to Dawn who he saw was now crying, tear tracks silently staining her cheeks.
Slowly, he began to remove his hand from over her mouth. He watched her warily, his hand ready in case she started to scream again. She didn't though. His hand now free from her mouth, she began to breathe deeply, gasping for breaths while sobbing silently. Her head hung down, and her blue bangs covered most of her face.
After a minute of this, she began to speak.
"Wh-what… d-do you… want?" she gasped out.
He stared at her for the longest time before answering.
"I need your help."
"The Marionette" Preview:
"Venus, come here," Mars gestured to someone standing behind Paul.
He craned his head to see who it was, but before he knew it, the person was standing beside him. It was a woman, in her early twenties he guessed. Around his age.
Her head was turned away from him, facing the other commander so he couldn't see her face. She had long, silky-looking tresses that reached to her mid-back in the color of navy blue. Paul couldn't help but notice what she was wearing which was a tight white dress that reached to her mid-thighs with long gray sleeves ( and with the yellow Galactic logo as conspicuous as always, of course), fishnet tights, and white ankle-high boots. Gold triangular clips were also placed neatly into her hair.
He glanced at the other two lady commanders, Mars and Jupiter, who were born about a decade before her and sported clothes that were more… mature for their age. Clothes that meant business, and no childish games.
"Dawn!" Ash gasped from beside him.
Paul looked away from the blue-haired lady to glance at Ash.
Dawn? Who was Dawn?
"Dawn! It's us, Ash and Paul! Dawn!"
Paul soon realized he was yelling at the new blue-haired commander. Ash knew her?
Mars shot a nasty glare Ash's way, while the blue-haired commander just plain ignored him, as if she didn't hear him calling at her. She simply stood standing by Paul's side, one hand on her hip.
"What is it Mars?"
"Take these two—" She pointed at him and Ash, wrinkling her nose as she turned to glare at them. "—to the dungeon. Watch them."
"Yes!" He heard Ash say under his breath, his chocolate-colored eyes now bright.
"Do you know her?" he asked Ash in a whisper, his eyes glancing back and forth between the two.
Just then, as if hearing him, the blunette turned around and Paul realized he too knew her. As their eyes locked, she smiled at him, an innocent, child-like smile. It didn't fit the outfit she wore which had the Galactic symbol on the front of her dress; it was much too innocent for somebody who was in Team Galactic.
"Sure," she agreed, turning back to Mars. "I'll watch over them."
Mars glanced suspiciously at her and then at him and Ash, then back to her.
"Do you know these two?" she asked slowly.
The blunette turned back to them, her eyes surveying them and her lips pursed together thoughtfully. Finally, she shook her head.
"Nope! Don't recall ever seeing them," she told Mars. "Even though they are both pretty cute." She added suggestively, smiling at them again.
"So you don't remember them from any place?"
"Good." A satisfied smile graced Mar's lips. "Then take them to the dungeon."
Suddenly, as she turned to him again and smiled that smile perfect for an angel, a memory from a long time ago resurfaced to his mind.
"Wh… what's wrong?"
"What's wrong? Who are you?"
"Excuse me your rudeness, but we've met once before, the name is Dawn!"
"YOU THINK YOU'RE FUNNY DON'T YOU?"
You know, reading these previews, I just realized something: I always make Dawn a victim or potential victim of something, haha. Except in that last one, The Marionette. :P But then again, even in that one she is a victim in a way... Sigh. Why am I so cruel to such a great character? D:
