Edit: I love going back to read what I wrote on my profile from years before. It really brings back memories. It's amazing how much one can change in a year, let alone 3 or 4.
So, I'm a teenage girl living in California. I'm taking an insane amount of AP classes and I like to read fanfiction. It is actually sort of a bad habit, as I tend to procrastinate a lot while reading a good story. I'm a bit of a grammar snob, though I admit to making a few errors myself. I find it almost intolerable when words are not properly capitalized or if they are misspelled. I mean, we live in a time where there are programs that automatically correct those things and checking them online is just a few key strokes away. I feel that if you can't even spell and use basic punctuations, you shouldn't be writing. And don't even mention that atrocious text/chat speak. Is it really that hard to spell words out?
I joined the world of fanfiction a few years ago. I had actually intended to write a few stories, but as you can see, that never happened. And it's probably never going to happen, either. I just don't have enough time, motivation, and I don't know what the hell I should right about. But whatever.
I love reading AU and crossover stories. I've only dabbled in a few categories, though. All of which are in my favorites. Recently, I've been caught up in reading Veronica Mars stories as well as Twilight. I actually didn't like the books that much. Some of the stories posted online are definitely better.
Another tidbit about me is that I'm really interested in French. I've been taking it for 3 years now, but I'm currently in French 7-8 (I skipped a year). I also bought Rosetta Stone for it, though I haven't had enough time to use it.
I actually want to major in law or psychology. And I'm hoping I can get into either UC Berkeley or Stanford.
I used to live on Guam and I was a spoiled Catholic private school girl, though I'm not religious. I feel that my years at Saint Anthony Catholic School really defined me. And it definitely cultivated my love of music. I'll listen to almost anything, excluding jazz and country. I prefer rock, pop, and hip hop. My favorite artist (at the moment) is a French one, Vitaa. I really like her song, "Pourquoi les hommes?", though I don't really understand everything. My favorite French song is "Viens jusqu'a moi" by Michal and Elodie Frege.
I volunteer a lot. I'm pretty sure that I have something like 300 hours now, and that's not taking into account the stuff I've done for Key Club or all the work I did while in middle school. It's just fun. You get to meet all these cool people and do something useful at the same time.
And that is it for my uselessly detailed bio. If you've actually read all of this, thank you.
PS- Oh, I didn't create my avatar, by the way. I just thought that it was cute.
