Naruto was dying. Kurama had a jutsu to save him. The only problem? It didn't quite work as intended. And now Naruto is reborn in a world where gods and monsters roam the lands. Thankfully, this time around, he has a mother with the most striking silver eyes the same color as the moon.

Kakashi was bound and determined to make sure that he didn't end up with a dead genin or one that went rogue. Plus, he kinda wanted to rub it in the other Jounin Sensei's faces that his team was just awesome like that, even if they didn't know it yet.

"I don't want them trained up to the level of impressive chuunin, Kakashi. I want them trained to be monsters, plain and simple." Though the Third Hokage made it sound so easy, training a traumatized self-proclaimed avenger and the attention-starved son of his deceased sensei was a lot more difficult in practice. Kakashi never expected them to grow on him so much, though.

Kakashi had a single red-and-black eye for more than half his life. Now, he has two.

When Kakashi found himself in a world with a highly corrupt empire and a group of assassins trying to take it down, there really was only one thing he could do.

Who knew some dimensions had actual child labour laws? In which Kakashi is reborn, the Hero Commission doesn't put all their eggs in one Hawks shaped basket and Shouta isn't getting paid enough to deal with this shit. Otherwise known as Kakashi in 1A.

A blonde ninja who changed his job occupation to that of a ramen chef meets an extremely lecherous teenager who will probably be called Oppai Dragon sooner or later. This story devolves from there. Involves subpar grammar, subparier comedy and the subpariest sense of structuring ever.

Kaguya won, Kurama has a 'plan', Kakashi's on board. Will a Relatively-Good!Kyuubi, Time travel, a younger stick-up-his-ass (though not for long if Kurama has anything to say in it) Kakashi and a shocked Team Minato be enough to save the world? Konoha has fallen and as the last survivor Kakashi learns an awful truth about the past. Determined to make things right, he's given an opportunity to do so by the person he wants most to forgive him. Starting over, he hopes that he'll be able to create a better future for everyone. After Naruto dies, he changes into a Hollow. This single death will change the lives and afterlives of many. And it's not exactly for the better.

There's something to be said for keeping the past as it was - makes it predictable, malleable. Naruto never bought those arguments. He's always been the one to power through adversity rather than wait it out, so why would now be any different? He'll do what has to be done, even if he steps on a few butterflies along the way.

Let it not be said that being Uzumaki Naruto is anything approaching easy; he has an obligation to the future but a duty to the past, and a time-traveling jutsu that lets him travel between both. OR: Naruto travels between the past and the present, and somehow loses himself in the process.
