Book 3. It started with a battle for the Outer Wall. It ended with blood and a blackened throne. Ba Sing Se changed all of them, for better or worse.

Book 5. One seeks to consume the world in fire, the other to control it with bonds. When destiny calls, all Zuko and Aang can do is try their best to follow.

Book 2. The scarred boy is found alone and half dead. All he has on him is a knife, a Pai Sho tile, and a bit of parchment with a riddle on it. He thinks he might have been searching for someone, and the wound on his shoulder and the fear prickling his heart tells him he was running from something. The problem is that he doesn't remember. He doesn't remember anything.

Book 1. In which rescuing the Avatar from Pohuai Stronghold doesn't end so well. It's a tough life being a banished prince trying to get home, especially when the Avatar just wants to be your friend and keeps making everything confusing. Oh, and did Zuko mention he somehow healed the kid? Yeah, that happened.

As Zuko joins the Gaang, a new element is added to the mix. Everyone is affected differently, and it takes a while to smooth things out. Little canon-compliant moments set after The Western Air Temple to explore the changes in the group dynamics, from initial unease to friendship. It also explores how the different elements complement and affect each other.

Zuko is haunted on Ember Island by memories in the corners, mistakes in the shadows, and maybe's in Katara. oneshot. zutara.

What did the Airbenders do with their children who could not bend? Sokka finds out, and he doesn't like the answer.

It was the kind of thing that happened in folktales: a cursed prince, a transformation that could not be broken. Except those princes usually became monstrous-looking creatures who needed true love's kiss to return to normal. They did not get stuck as a six-year-old boy depending on a bald runt and two Water Tribe siblings.

A crackfic in which butts come up. Also this is a crackfic that is written largely in character...but the premise is so utterly ridiculous it can only qualify as a crackfic. HASHTAG BUTTS.

In the aftermath of war, Zuko is unable to celebrate the victory over the Phoenix King. Lying in a comatose state, Zuko is watched over by Katara, who cannot help but feel guilt, after he shielded her from Azula's fateful lightning strike. Recalling the event, she vows to bring Zuko back to health, no matter the cost. After all, he had been ready to die for her.

The Fire Lord is Agni incarnate. Agni wouldn't wait for someone to save him if he was tortured, chained to a post, and about to watch his friends be publically executed. Agni would burn them. In which people think Zuko is too soft. And then they don't.
