A/U story. What if Chuck and Sarah were a couple from the very beginning? How would that change the evolution of the stories? Here's my take on answering those questions. This is an AU story. Chuck Bartowski is gifted in special ways that have kept him isolated from normal life. To add to his feelings of isolation, his gifts come at a price. He wants a normal life. Now, Chuck is a new student at Stanford. He meets a fellow student, Sarah Walker, who has her own issues. Will their lives be anything like normal?

Season 3 AU. Starts from the very end of Season 2, but quickly goes in a very different direction. There is no Prague, and no Shaw. But Team Bartowski must face dueling threats from both the Ring and the United States government. What if Chuck had met Sarah in more unpleasant circumstances? We meet Chuck in 2004, life hasn't got any better for him since he got expelled from Stanford. He got caught hacking and was coerced into working for the NSA as an analyst.

In a world where everyone is connected to their soulmate at some point in their life, through writing on their skin, Chuck hadn't really thought a mathematical formula would be the thing to indicate he's met his. For the rest of his life, he's connected to a kind girl with a dozen names, who travels all around the country. And they might just fall for each other along the way. AU.
