Author has written 19 stories for Drake & Josh, Inglourious Basterds, CSI: New York, Twilight, Covenant, Office, Big Time Rush, X-Men: The Movie, Misc. Games, Angel, Degrassi, and Walking Dead.
Holly; New York Native. You can find me around here and around Mibba under the username Josie. . My writing mood usually varies, and because of it many stories are left without an ending or deleted. If I like it enough and have enough support on it, I generally do come back to it. I go through phases of what I'm obsessed with at the time. I also run a graphics/resource site called One Of My Lies.
Reviews? I've generally have not met a single person who doesn't like their work reviewed. Reviews are what makes me write, especially knowing if I've messed something up or if I've provided false information when I'm trying to stick to something. Case in point? The more reviews I get, the more likely I am to continue writing in something.
PM's? Absolutely! I love to get to know fellow authors :) Personal Messaging is probably the best way to reach me if you're not reviewing and just want to chat :)
Preparation? Usually I've either watched the movie/show, or have read a book enough times to be able to come up with a decent plot from it and remember important details to include. However, if it's a newer movie that's just come out, I might surf the web for a copy of the script. It's how Inglourious Basterds was done at the time, and I still prefer the script to the movie.
Slash or OC? I have written both, though I usually prefer OC or touching on a mental level more. I have to really be into the pairing to write slash, and it doesn't happen often anymore.
Signature Style? Dark writing, and that's about the only way I know how to do it. Rarely will you find a happy, chipper, fluffy story coming out of me. I prefer to touch on a mental level, to dive into a persons psyche and make a story off of it. It's not often the brighter side; it's the darker side that nobody dreamed fathomable. And in that is true, honest writing; you're not sugar coating feelings. I also adore writing about vampires...
Is there going to be a sequel to 'Shattered Glass'? This one gets written in a lot and people constantly telling me to make a sequel because it would be wise. The problem with that is that I have to be in a certain mood to write Twilight, and Shattered Glass was written at the prime of New Moon's hype when the movie was released. I've tried to write a sequel quite a few times, and none of them really work out. Eventually, yes, there may be one. As of right now? No, there is not going to be one.
Favorite Movies To Write About: X-Men: The First Class (or really the X-Men series in general), Twilight (occasionally), Inglourious Basterds, Miracle, Atonement, Wanted, Donnie Darko, The Covenant, eventually maybe even Get Him To The Greek.
Favorite TV Shows To Write About: Angel, Ghost Adventures, The Office, Viva La Bam, Sonny With A Chance, Hannah Montana, Wizards Of Waverly Place, Big Time Rush, and Degrassi: The Next Generation.
Favorite Book Series To Write About: Escape From Furnace Series, and occasionally Twilight. There aren't many books that can captivate me.
CURRANT PROJECTS: Children Of The Gun (As Inglorious As It Gets Sequel, already about...seven chapters planned), Animal (Wolverine/OC one shot), and Breathing For Desire (Angel/OC, Spike/OC, Doyle/OC, Doyle/Cordelia series).
