Author has written 5 stories for King Arthur, and Highlander.
Being that I am more of a reader than a moviegoer, I didn't see "King Arthur" until sometime in 2006, when I happened to rent the DVD. I'm not sure what happened at that point, because I didn't actually LIKE it at first. The historical inaccuracies irked me no end, and frankly, the entire movie bore no resemblance to the Arthurian legends that I love entirely too much-so...
Imagine my surprise, when I realized a few months later, that I owned the theatrical version, the Director's cut AND the novelization, (which, imho, is no less than a wall-banger EXTRAORDINAIRE). So, I'm happily obssessing away, alternating the theatrical dvd and the director's cut, watching this movie 3, 4, OK, every night, And then...it got worse.
I started hearing little snippets of conversations between the knights in my head and found myself devising situations in which these conversations might take place and the next thing I knew, I was telling myself stories. So... "Maggie," I said to myself, "Surely you're not the only nut doing this." (Because I've found that I'm usually late for EVERYTHING.)
Which led to much Googling, web-surfing and eventually to several King Arthur fansites, and ultimately, to FF.
And I found that I am NOT the only nut obssessing over KA, Highlander and a multitude of others, and moreover, there are some incredibly talented fanfic writers out there. I am also very relieved to note that I'm not the only person the Knights, Duncan Macleod (of the Clan Macleod), Cassandra, and Methos et.al. talk to(and needless to say, I sleep better at night knowing that). They keep themselves very busy indeed, for which I am most grateful, because I really appreciate the opportunity to peek into other folks' worlds.

slightly mad, according to my kids (if you can raise 4 kids and not be slightly crazy, you're a better person than I am)
I share 75 acres in the middle of Nowhere, Louisiana with a herd of cows, a murder of crows, 4 donkeys, a flock of assorted poultry, 2 dogs and, I think, 12 cats.
