Some time ago, I took down the stories I had posted here on fanfiction upon making the decision to become a published author. I have been working tirelessly and very hard since to write the best story I could. And I think I did.
Yay! (I couldn’t help myself.)
Below is a summary of my new story, The Dragons’ Prophecy, Book 1 of The Elements of Earthia Trilogy. For those that were a fan of the Bond series, this may be up your alley.
It is a young adult epic fantasy depicting the adventures of four unlikely heroines. Read on to find out more!
Faeolyn, Evelyn, Az’ria and Nadyanelle are not sisters. They are not even sisters of the same race! Faeolyn is a mischievous angel, who wants nothing more than to be a warrior. Gentle Evelyn is part elf, part dryad and because of her lineage, is totally one with the trees. Az’ria is a fiery drakonian, a descendant of the dragons, with a past full of betrayal and captivity and thus, not afraid to use her claws and fangs to get her point across. Finally, sweet Nadyanelle is mysteriously part mermaid, a halfling yet to be encountered, who loves to sing and weave flowers. They don’t even have anything in common!
But quite suddenly, after escaping a band of mercenaries that destroy their refuge and meeting a mystic dragon during their search for safety, they become sisters of the most important cause ever to come into existence: the salvation of the world.
Prophesized as the Elements, the chosen beings who are each empowered with the ability to wield the elements of water, earth, fire, and air, they are accompanied by a roughened warrior that acts as their teacher, a Seeress as their guide, an escort of knights, and a band of thieves called the Spriggans. They must conquer the demons of their past to not only bring the disheartened people of Earthia together, but battle an evil queen who threatens the delicate balance of good and evil, and will stop at nothing in her quest for dominion.
But, first thing first. They will slap the humans senseless until they change their foolish belief that women can’t fight!
