This profile contains spoilers to ALL of my stories, and some of the content may be mature! Read at your own risk.
Current Status: I'm back! Only thing is, I've got track, school, and a melee of other things I'm trying to do. To my RPs- I'm so sorry, but I'm going to have to drop out. I'm just not on consistently enough to continue, and after being gone for so long, it would be hard to get caught back up. Sorry, sorry, sorry!
Name: Sam Hazel
Gender: Female. Some people have mistaken me for a guy (Sam is a pretty common guy's name) and I'm not really a pink-fluffy-girlie-girl. I actually enjoy hanging out with guys more than girls... :/
Location: Cloud nine. Literally. It's really wet up here, and kinda cold.
Personality: Read the rest of my profile, silly.
Uhmm... can't think of any other personal info except for the stuff below. If you think of anything else you'd like to know, email me or just put it in a review of my stories. While you're reviewing, might as well read the story while you're at it!
- I hate chocolate icecream (gasp!) and the Beatles
- I am a Guitar Hero freak. GHII I can play on Expert, and GHIII is just Hard.
- I also play DDR and sing for Rock Band (hoo yea, Welcome Home)
-I'm an opposite-of-claustrophobic-thing. I'm too lazy to look up what that means, but I like small places a lot. When I was little, I spent a lot of time in that tight corner in the back of my closet, or in the cereal cuppoard.
-Physical contact kind of freaks me out. I hate being surrounded by people touching me, and I jump when people touch my shoulder or something. A high-five is fine, or something like that, but please. Hands off.
- I'm a proud music addict who enjoys Rock, Alternative, a bit of Boyband, Heavy Metal, Emo-Screamo, and some of those 'Pop' songs like Love Song, Breathe, Her Eyes, etc.
-My favorite bands are: Rise Against, Before Their Eyes, Alter Bridge, Soundbender, Panic! At the Disco, Flyleaf, Tool, Chiodos, Death Cab for Cutie, and various others.
- My favorite books include Blue Bloods, Impulse, Burned, Uglies, Maximum Ride, Twilight, The Host, Eragon, Warriors, Midnighters, The Great Gatsby, A Great and Terrible Beauty, Lightning Theif, Midnighters, In the Forests of the Night, A Demon in My Veiw, Keisha'ra, Harry Potter, The Golden Compass, The Bartamius Trilogy, When the Wind Blows, The Lake House, Promise Me, and No Place Like Home.
-I heart music.
-I have an expensive, nice, professional-ish camera, one with the big lens and hundreds of buttons. I love taking pictures. Check it out- redfeatherz on deviantart.
- Jonny Depp is not hot. Jack Sparrow, however, is a different story...
- Bow down to Orlando Bloom's dreaminess!!
-Favorite TV shows are: The Mentalist, House, How I Met Your Mother
-Favorite movies: X Men Origions: Wolverine, Pirates of the Caribbean, Batman, Ironman, The Hulk, Pineapple Express, Twilight, Role Models, Jumper

-"After all, Fnick is superman." -Iggy

The Great Gatsby
- Daisy began to sing with the music in a husky, rhythmic whisper, bringing out a meaning in each word that it had never had before and would never have again. -Nick
- But with every word she was drawing further and further into herself, so he gave that up and only the dead dream fought on as the afternoon slipped away, trying to touch what was no longer tangible, struggling unhappily, undespairingly, toward that lost voice across the room. -Nick
- He must have looked up at an unfamiliar sky through frightening leaves and shivered as he found what a grotesque thing a rose is and how raw the sunlight was upon the scarcely created grass. A new world, material without being real, where poor ghosts, breathing dreams like air, drifted fortuitously about... like that ashen, fantastic figure gliding toward him through the amorphous trees. -Nick
- And as I sat there, brooding on the old unknown world, I thought of Gatsby's wonder when he first picked out the green light at the end of Daisy's dock. He had come a long way to this blue lawn and his dream must have seemed so close that he could hardly fail to grasp it. He did not know that it was already behind him, somewhere back in that vast obscurity beyond the city, where the dark fields of the republic rolled on under the night.
- Of eternity, of silence, of coldness, of stillness. Of Ecl. He who dwells with Ecl knows of void. He who dwells with Ecl knows of death. But he who dances with Ecl, he is lost, for he who dances with Ecl brings to life the world of death. So dance. Of eternity, of madness, of heat, of movement. Of Mehay. He who dwells with Mehay knows too much. He who dwells with Mehay knows of creation. But he who dances with Mehay, he is lost, for he who dances with Mehay cannot leave the dance and will face the fire. So dance." -Darien
-"No one has danced your future for you, have they? Most fear the sakkri'a'she. It can burn one's mind, they say, but I spun that magic with almost every breath as I walked the streets of the white city. Let me see if I remember the steps..." -quemak'la'Hai'nesera
-"We will be here before." -Darien
-"I borrowed a feather of your sould once, son of the son of she who shines in the darkness, she who glints on ice. I borrowed it and kept it safe. I borrowed it and made it dance for me, and it said... It said, son of the son of the Lady, that you would destroy an empire." -Darien
-"See, I think drugs have done some good things for us, I really do. And if you don’t believe drugs have done good things for us, do me a Favor: go home tonight and take all your albums, all your tapes, and all your cd’s and burn em’. 'Cause you know what? The musicians who’ve made all that great music that’s enhanced your lives throughout the years... Rrrrrrrrrrrrreal f--ing high on drugs." -Bill Hicks
-"I'm standing on the edge of hope/Looking through my cosmic telescope/At a world staring back at me/From the wrong side of eternity/And the only clue my poor brain finds/Is a world I've already left behind/I've already left behind/I've already left behind." -Shooter
-"You can't have everything. Where would you put it?" -Steven Wright
-"Oh yeah? Jacob imprinted on a fetus. Take that, Quill." -Jesse
-"Mans are icky." -Jerica
My Main Characters (Warning! This character introduction gives spoilers for my stories!)
Sam- Sam was my first character ever. I created her first image once for a writing for english class. It was supposed to be a short story, and most people had stories that were 3 to 8 pages long. Mine? Thirty even. She was originally a demigod, used by the Greek Gods to find Echidna before the monsters all around the world went rampant without her control. It was a very early version of her, and it wasn't exactly a great story. I got a ten for grammar on the whole thing. Now, she's my character for everything from Eragon to Maximum Ride. She's usually dark, clever, manipulative, the works. But she's not really evil, she just uses cold logic, does what's best for her regardless of everyone else (she's not self-centered, though. She's like Murtagh.), and enjoys chaos more than she should. Usually, she appears with golden-brown hair with a bit of red in it, light hazel eyes, fair skin, skinny, and average height. Most stories have her with black bat wings, and some she can dissolve into smoke at will. Other times, she's sort of a werepanther, but is affected by emotions instead of the moon. Call her Samatha or Sammy and she'll gladly break you in half.
Eli- Eli was a more brilliant creation of mine, I think. She's usually Sam. It's kind of Dr. Jekel/Mr.Hyde relationship. Eli is the kind, compassionate, and warm version of Sam, rather than icy and sharp. She's more intelligent and smart than clever and manipulative. Sam is filled with anger, while Eli is untroubled. Eli usually doesn't have wings or any other powers. I just recently created her, and she's a great asset to the team.
Polotheus- Polotheus (Polo for short) is a mixed character. There's quite a few different versions of him. Sometimes he's with Sam/Eli, other times he's with Max. The two main types of Polo are the Max version and the Sam/Eli version. The Max version is when he's paired with Max. He's a lighter version of Fang, with light hair, eyes, and wings. He's funny, smart, mature... perfect for Max, an exact match, and usually appears as Max's man and Sam/Eli's brotherly second-in-command. The Sam/Eli version is a lot like Fang, with dark hair, wings, eyes, and personality. He's quiet, smart, sarcastic, and untrusting. This Polo is paired with Sam/Eli as more than just a friend. Polo always has wings.
Slithard- A slithard isn't exactly one character. It's a lot like the police, or an Eraser if you've read MR, but more special. They're the bad guys, the guards of the secret labs or whatever. Sometimes Sam/Eli's power is to turn into a slithard. Slithards are covered with scales, usually dark red, dark blue, or dark green. They've got eyes that are either all (no pupils or white parts) ruby, sapphire, or emerald, corresponding to their scale colors. They've got hooked fangs, black retractable claws, and a long, whiplike tail. Their feet are like a t-rex or some other carnivorous reptilian dinosaur's feet. They're smart, fast, strong, and have far better senses than the average human. Slithards are used to track and hunt people down, guard places, and are general mercinaries/assassians/evil dudes.
MaxFang (so natural, a GREAT pairing)
NudgeIggy (love this, but not many other people seem to)
AngelAri (it's okay if it's the little 7-year-old Ari. Eraser Ari and Angel seems weird. See rant below about them.)
SamFang (read my stories for this one. this is only if it's MaxPolo.)
SamPolo (read. my. stories.)
MaxPolo (this is only if it's SamFang. Polo isn't a cheater, and neither is Fang.)
BellaEdward (obviously, again)
LisbonJane (of course)
MaxIggy (Max goes with Fang or Polo. Not Iggy)
FangIggy (I'm fine with gay people, but I don't like reading about it in detail)
NudgeGazzy (I've only seen this once and don't wanna see it again. They just aren't... compatible, I guess.)
AngelGazzy (Who is the -insert incredibly vulgar word here- that came up with this?)
EllaIggy (Iggy is Nudge's guy, not hers. She could go with Gazzy or someone else, I guess, but not Iggy. He's taken.)
MaxNudge (seen this only once. NEVER again... -shudder-)
AngelAri (Special circumstances with this. Angel can only be with Ari if it's seven-year-old Ari. Not eraser Ari, cause he's old. I don't care that he's actually seven, he acts, looks, and thinks like an older person. Try to picture Angel with cute little blonde Ari. Awww, how sweet. Now look at eraser Ari. Wolfy, mistaken for Wolverine (who's some twenty years old, might I mention,) scraggly, patchworky, ugh, standing beside little Angel, with blonde hair and a winged teddy bear (didn't mean to rhyme there, honest,) and blue eyes. Not good.)
AliceJasper (they just don't seem to fit. Alice is so bubbly and hype, while Jasper is just lounging in the background.)
JaneVan Pelt (Nuh-uh. Total opposites.)
If you think people should just shut up and stop, put this on your profile. (BOLD the ones you are.)
I am friends with a CUTTER, so I MUST be a CUTTER too.
You Know You're an Author If:
You talk to yourself a lot. (e.g. Hmm, what would happen if it was sunny the day Bella got hit by the van? Oh, story idea!! Must get computer!)
You talk to yourself about talking to yourself. (e.g. 'Why do I constantly ask my self random things?')
When you talk to yourself you often talk to yourself like you're talking to someone else. (e.g. 'Have you ever noticed that deliver could mean take out someone's liver?')
After uttering a profound piece of wisdom like that above, you stare at the cookie in your hand with awe and say, "Wow,this stuff is great for sugar highs...'
You live off of sugar and caffeine.
You've ever stuck a big word into a sentance after a dumb word (e.g. 'College is so, like, totally daunting')
Your vacation is ruined because you forgot your laptop at home and just discovered an amazing plot for a story.
You'll check your e-mail every day of the week and then disappear off the face of the earth.
You're e-mails tend to be pages long and incredibly random.
When replying to an e-mail, you'll never actually address the point of it.
You tend to collect Bic Stics off the ground like picking pennies off the ground.
No matter where you are in a room you never have to get up to find a pen/pencil and paper.
The letters on your keyboard are wearing off.
Your friends and family think that you have carpal tunnel syndrome.
People think you have A.D.D.
You think it'd be cool to have A.D.D.
When your English teacher assigns a writing, all you have to do is open up one that's already done and print it.
You correct spelling problems and various mistakes on the worksheets your teachers pass out.
You want to type one thing to someone, but then end up writing a novel.
That short story your english teacher assigned you to write came out as a 30-page story compared to the 5-page tales everyone else did.
You constantly start talking in third person, present or past tense. (All the time. You don't even know!)
You start thinking about making lists like this and start giggling for no "apparent" reason.
Your friends stopped looking at you funny for no apparent reason a loooooong time ago.
And FINALLY, the one way to tell if you're a good writer: You failed English 101. (Actually this does not aply but w.e.)
(copy that into you're profile if you fit one or more of the descriptions)

You can randomly open to a page and know exactly what's going on.
Read the book until 4 A.M., then get back up at 7 to continue reading.

You accidentally call everyone by the character's names.
Everything reminds you of the book.
You quote random lines all the time.
You try to do things that the characters do, even though you know you can't. (like, um, magic powers, or taking a Fangish vow of silence, or trying to break Nudge's talking record)
You've gotten incredibly bored in class, and debated on doing something your favorite character can do to escape the class (e.g. flip a desk over then fly out the window, turn into a wolf and maul someone, turn invisible and 'haunt' the school then laugh as the FBI freaks out, light your book on fire and cackle demonically...)
You have pictures of your favorite characters on your iPod.
You've got a book memorized.
You've read a book more than five times.
You've read a book with 400+ pages in less than two days.
You've planned and perepared a seige on a writer's house because he/she killed a character you like.
You've plotted to murder a character and steal her boyfriend.
You hate it when someone calls your favorite character fictional (e.g. Too bad Edward Cullen is fictional)
You blatantly deny it when someone calls a character fictional.
You check your back every morning in the mirror to see if you've sprouted wings and can join the flock.
You test your hand in sunlight to check and see if you're still (unfortunately) human.

They will never be forgotten.

Black then white are all I see in my infancy.
Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.
I embrace my desire to,
With my feet upon the ground I move myself between the sounds and open wide to suck it in.
