Life is like a river that flows downstream from the mountain to the sea. Sometimes the paths are wide and smooth, with gentle flowing waters that run gleaming under the sun like a plane of flawless glass; other times, the bottom rises up, filled with rocks, and the water breaks against the surface in rapid, unpredictable waves. And as a river, you have no choice but to go along with the current, your will lost, always moving away, always searching, always moving forward but never understanding where you are or where you are going, your life a mockery of what semblence of control you play to keep...

status report

1.12.03 working on the second half of chapter two of Western Stars. Seems strange to be working on the revision of the sequel before the prequel. Clawtracks of a Star in for more delays. 1/10 of the way through PoM chapter 11, in other words, I'm at the bottom of the first page.

1.14.03 PoM 2/10 completed. CoS on hiatus. It was strange to work on the rewrite of the sequel when the prequel was being rewritten as well. ack...

1.20.04 removed 2-4 of Wayward and replaced the first chapter with a revised version.

1.26.04 midterms. pages 2-11 of PoM trashed for draft 2. see LJ for assassination attempts.
