Anime Suggestion : Sword Art Online: "The only way to escape is to 'clear' the game. Death in game means actual 'death' -- The ten thousand who have logged onto the as of yet mysterious game 'Sword Art Online' using their Nerve Gear have been forced into this perilous death game and are trapped inside. Protagonist Kirito, one of the many gamers, has greeted this 'truth'. He plays as a solo player in the giant castle that is the stage for this game -- 'Aincrad'. To meet the conditions of clearing the game and leaving this twisted virtual world, he must get through all 100 floors. Will Kirito have what it takes to clear the game, or will he die trying?" (PARAGRAPH IN QUOTES FROM GOODANIME.COM. I DISCLAIM ALL.)
Review: This show is really good. Kirito shows consistent growth from day one of the show. Not only can we watch Kirito as he bonds with people, and grows from these bonds. His partner to be, Asuna, also shows growth. The show times itself primarily on how many levels have been completed. Every episode shows a new plot, that in turn, causes all the characters surrounding and including Kirito to grow. Amazing graphics, interesting fight scenes, and an incredibly detailed and well built world rounds this anime off as one of the best I've seen in a while. Please don't end too soon SAO. You make my day.
Song Suggestion: Tasty: You Know Me (Album: Spectrum the 1st album)
Entertainment Company: Woollim Entertainment
Review: This song has a strong instrumental background. The song genre is straight up techno music, with synthpop incorporated into the song. The song is definitely a dance track that could be played at any club. The dance is has strong synchronization and difficulty hard to surpass, while giving the chorus a simple but recognizable shoulder move that allows fans to participate. Lastly, the duo holds strong visuals, strong vocals, and holds amazing charisma on stage. Plus the two boys? They're twins. C'mon. Twins. There's nothing better than that.
Asian Drama Suggestion: Faith (SBS): Starring Lee Min Ho as Choi Young and Kim Hee Sun as Yoo Eun Soo.
PD: Kim Jong Hak
Writer: Song Ji Na
Synopsis: "A 21st-century plastic surgeon Eun-Soo (Kim Hee-sun) gets kidnapped and brought 700 years in the past for her healing powers. Goryeo-era bodyguard to the king, General Choi Young, is smart but a little naive, [but] he almost never smiles. He faces conflicts with the female doctor Eun-soo, but soon feels attracted to her."
Review: This show is epicness. I've never seen a show with such interesting production, or such a well thought out world. The animated scenes in the show are amazing. They're breathtaking, beautiful, and captivating all at once. However, the cinematic aspect of the show holds itself even without that animated scenes. The show also has epic battle scenes, showcasing strong visuals, and amazing stunts throughout them. The characters and the plot have been deeply and thoroughly developed. I find myself cheering for even the smallest supporting roles. And of course, our mainies. Lee Min Ho never fails to deliver, showing the darkness and pain of his character, as well as the beauty in his developing relationship with the humorous and liberal Yoo Eun Soo, who only wanted to marry a rich guy and set up a plastic surgery practice in Gangnam. Watching this superficial girl enter the political turmoil of the Goryeo era is probably the most hilarious thing ever. I love watching her in denial about the fact that she time traveled from 2012 to Goryeo. I can't wait until the other characters find out. This is a show to watch for. Trust me and watchy. It's good.
