Author has written 11 stories for Janet Evanovich, and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer.
I dabble in two fandoms. I'm trying to get back in the habit of writing something every day because I enjoy it and it makes me feel good.
Plum-verse: Some of my Merry Men are based on fanfic characterizations done by other people. I would thank whoever created Lester's personality for instance, but so many people have written him this way now, I don't know who to thank! I would go canon with their personalities, but if I recall correctly, JE hasn't given them much. If I've gotten something horribly wrong, please let me know so I can fix it and look like less of an idiot. :)
Likewise, if you see something, grammar, spelling, 'this makes no sense whatsoever!" it would be great if you could let me know. I don't get this stuff beta-ed not because I'm arrogant and think I don't need it, but because when I do write, I tend to write a lot (and then nothing for long periods) and I don't want to burden somebody with a ton of stuff all at once...if I had a somebody to burden, which I don't.
Also, I'm impatient. I have to wait if someone is editing. So I write. I read it myself a jillion times. I post. It's a bad thing. I know.
I am always trying to improve my writing though, so if you do see mistakes or have constructive criticism and are uncomfortable leaving critique in a review, I'd very much appreciate an email to jnharrow at yahoo if you have the time. You won't hurt my feelings. Thanks.
