Author has written 4 stories for Naruto, Batman Begins/Dark Knight, and Final Fantasy VIII.
"Don't just write the characters, write for the characters. Tell their story, not yours." -tranquilwriter
If you've stumbled upon this little corner of fanfiction.net, welcome! I don't write much, but I have written a couple things and if I ever fully-form an idea and can be satisfied with it, I will write it.
I write exclusively one-shots (and one collection of one-shots) because I'm flaky and can never fully commit to an entire chaptered story. I do, however, try to write longer, more in-depth one-shots whenever possible.
I hope you enjoy!
I'm also thinking of better usernames because WOW is mine ever old and dumb.
Character(s): Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha
Based on Poe's The Raven poem. An experiment that was written as a story, but more like something Poe would come up with rather than something Masashi Kishimoto would have written. Basically, something like if Poe had written Naruto. Experimenting with things like symbolism, color theory, alliteration, etc. It was probably more in-your-face than I meant for it to be, though.
Some of Sakura's thoughts seem, honestly, weird, in the context of Naruto and her character. My response to that is that it's a bit of a darker story anyway, and it was written probably a couple hundred Naruto chapters back or something.
Shadow of the Bat
Series: Batman Begins (Dark Knight Trilogy)
Genre: ??? (Hard to categorize)
Character(s): John Blake
Heavy spoilers for the end of The Dark Knight Rises. Could be seen as my take on an epilogue of sorts to the series.
Character(s): Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno
Written for SasuSaku Month 2012, Day 17, Prompt: Younger, although I didn't officially submit it. Post-Canon, Sasu/Saku pairing, was an experimentation with heavy use of symbolism (which at the time I hoped was subtle and now I'm settling for "Well, hopefully it wasn't too in-your-face")
Series: Final Fantasy VIII
Rating: Varies, T would be the highest
Characters: Squall Leonheart, Rinoa Heartily mainly, but I reserve the right to include any others.
This started out when I fell back in love with Final Fantasy VIII. I had the thought of writing small one-shots based on various pieces of the FFVIII score, since FF games deal heavily in involving the score in the storytelling. I did put in an author's note that this would not have an update schedule, and that I would write for it as the inspiration struck me...but I've only ever put out the one chapter. I still reserve the right to add chapters as I feel like it, however, so I still consider this In-Progress.
