![]() Author has written 11 stories for Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter. Grandmother, Christian. I need to change the avatar's hair color - it's now gray and white. I know a fair amount of hard Sciences, including Genetics, Mycology, and Astronomy, so you had better get it right. Bad science makes me cringe. LOTR nut; also The Last Unicorn, Narnia, mythology in general, original Star Trek, King Arthur, and Percy Jackson. I find I am more than fond of cats and dragons! I do read Harry Potter. I was disappointed in HP VII, though I understand the literary format she used. I like HPSS mentor/parenting. I find I am making a pretty good collection of HP-being-raised-by-ANYONE-else. I don't read slash or most adult-rated. I despise horror, including the toothy/sparkly. I do adore humor. Any story winding up on my Favorites list is probably hilarious, skewed viewpoint, off-kilter, and / or unbelievably creative and well-written. I'm in here to relax. This is FICTION. 2020 hit me as hard as everyone else. I have a few stories. If you recognize a character or something from somewhere else, it isn't mine. I'm just playing around. Having said that, I see I have begun to collect a few OC and situations that turn up or are referred to in more than one story. My stories are not consistent. HLN is NOT a sequel to Squib, or even in the same possible Universe, though points may overlap. Characters may wander around and appear my other stories. So far I haven't caught any changing sides, but I make no promises for the future. My Dementors are not evil, just dangerous. Am currently working on a challenge, "His Life Now." This is my first long story, and it's slow going but NOT dead or abandoned. I do know where I'm trying to take it. For now, expect a chapter a month, usually on Thursdays. The Date for the next expected chapter will be at the bottom of the current one. If the power goes, or the computer breaks - you know, can't predict everything. If You have any questions, ASK! Like everyone else, I love reviews I love reading fan fiction, and came across a pledge from Old Crow, one of my favorite authors: I have been trying to leave reviews for the stories that I read, even if I jump ship due to something that I don't like. From "Old Crow" "I promise to review (kindly) every fanfic I read whether it be fantastic, useless, or anywhere in between. I make this pledge because I know how frustrating it is for an author to have hundreds (or thousands) of hits and only a handful of reviews." Copy and paste this onto your profile if you promise to do the same. I know it is difficult to review every chapter, but do as many as you can, especially the final ones. |
