Welcome to my Profile!
Important Info: I am slow to write things. If I'm motivated by obvious interest in stories, I tend to write faster, but I am a student, I have a job, and I have friends / a life.
I love hearing from fans. If you like my works... please let me know. I don't mind if you email me (email@example.com), just send me a hello sometime. I don't bite... much. =3
I'm an English Honours student, and I am Canadian. So no, my spelling isn't off when I spell "Honour" or "Colour", I just use the Canadian abuse of the letter "U".
I call Thief King Bakura / TKB "Akefia". Yes, it's a fanon name. Yes, I'm aware of that. Stories simply have better flow when I can use a name. =3
Bakushipping (This includes: Tendershipping, Gemshipping, Geminishipping)
(If you don't know the fanon names: )
Note: I will likely only ever write Bakushipping and branch pairings of it as the main love group of a story, though you will see hints of Bronzeshipping and Puzzleshipping amongst my usual writings. Some stories may contain strange alter-pairings... but those usually aren't meant to be the important part.
Stories to Watch For:
A one-shot birthday fanfiction for Ryou. Bakushipping and lime warnings! "Ryou's habit of keeping candy around his neck might prove to be too much temptation for his houseguests - just in time for his birthday!" Enjoy!
Loosely inspired by Moulin Rouge, Courtesan is (yet another) Alternate Universe fanfiction. Warnings for mentions of rape, limes, violence and an interesting rivalry. "The treasure of two men, a young courtesan is forced to choose between love and security. Luckily, this choice may not be too difficult." Bakushipping.
Sequel to Oasis, Fracture is set current day, slightly AU due to the content of Oasis (and the perspective of both). Just when Akefia thought he'd lost his chance, a young man started his adventure again awakening him from the Millenium Ring. With the help of two strangely familiar allies, the King of Thieves sets out to complete his life's mission - to collect the Millenium Items and free the spirits of his villagers. Unfortunately, the Spirit of the Ring isn't the only one whose come back. "An old promise is being given a new chance to come to fruition, but even with all the odds against him, the King of Thieves will always have an ace to play." Bakushipping
The Pen is Mightier...
A little three part AU story full of scandal, blackmail, and the trying to fit in of people everywhere. "Our secrets are our secrets - so long as you do what you're told." Tendershipping.
A collection of various poems centered around the Bakurae. This will contain Bakushipping, Tendershipping, Gemshipping and Geminishipping poems. Some will have influences from my various stories, others will be more practical, and still more will have plots, almost stories of their own. If you wish to turn any of my plot-poems into an actual story, please let me know, and we will see what we can arrange. I don't bite!
No Strings Attached
No excuses! No excuses! I had a conversation with PStG which inspired an N'Sync-based story. Well, at least based on "No Strings Attached", "It's Gonna Be Me" and "This I Promise You". For those of you wanting something cute and sweet - this probably isn't it. It's mostly a reflection by Bakura on the one thing he can't bring himself to take. "You miss one hundred percent of the shots you never take. But some shots are really too terrifying to do more than think on." Tendershipping (Sorta)
Set in the Ancient Egypt Arc - a new twist on the story you thought you knew. As Akefia and Atemu battle for the Millenium Items, both are forced to back down as death shadows over them. Too stubborn to die, Akefia flees into the desert, with no true hopes of living; what he finds there is truth about the world he lives in, and the opportunity to gain everything he ever wanted. "The desert is a realm of death, for most. But for one, it will be a realm of life, and stunning revelations. Love and war collide in a battle for Ancient Egypt." Bakushipping
Inspired by a pair of stories, Offerings to the Moon is a Tendershipping fanfiction based in London in the 1700's. Both Ryou and Bakura will have alternate last names, and there are warnings for Occult, possible lemons/limes, mentions of rape/prostitution, violence... the whole T rated shebang. "Choosing a path is difficult - there is no wrong path, only the path that will make you happy. Which path will you choose?" No, it's not a choose your own adventure (Sorry!) but I do believe it will be a new experience for most.
Rings & Vows
Admittedly, I want Ryou and Bakura married. I just wanted a pretty wedding fic! And it came out a little comedic. =D I don't do that very often! Hoorah! Rings & Vows is a one-shot about the customs of the modern world, and Bakura's interpretation of them. "While weddings are supposed to be romantic, some really don't get what's going on. Especially someone like... Ryou." Tendershipping
A depressing little Ryou-snaps one-shot written while sick with a head cold. "Oh how sanity doth leave us so blind, and yet leaves images so vivid..." Bakushipping (sorta)
What it Takes to Succeed
A short one-shot dealing with what it means to try and be the conscience of Akefia, and the struggles poor Ryou suffers in dealing with both his wayward ward, and his incubus lover. "Being the guiding light of a thief is a difficult task... especially when your opposing force happens to be the embodiment of lust." Bakushipping
