Taking place in Susan Kay's Phantom, from Erik's time in Persia to him taking up residence in the Paris opera house, we learn the true identity behind the siren and the real reason why Christine's voice was so otherworldly.

Christine recognises the dark look of lust in the Phantom's eyes. When he runs away from her, seeking solace in his room, she follows only to discover a salacious sight. MA15 . Read at your own risk.
