Author has written 3 stories for Transformers/Beast Wars, and Transformers.

NOTE ON JULY 20, 2011:
"Night Fire" has been on hold since January. I apologize for that, but I'm swamped with work, moving yet again, and life in general. It is not an easy story to write. I also haven't replied to any reviews for ch. 63. I really regret that I haven't been able to, but I thank each and every one of you for the kind words and encouragement.
Letohatchee: My DeviantArt page where I posted my Transformers 3 behind the scenes photographs:
My video on YouTube of the explosions they set off for Transformers 3 in Washington DC on Pennsylvania Avenue:
I am 33 years old and am a world traveler and travel writer. I am also an Archaeologist, so I find myself whisked away to various travels and digs frequently. As such, sometimes my updates may be few and far between. I will do my best to update frequently. The photo there is of a freaking huge sherd of pottery that we found at a Late Woodland Period, about 500-700 A.D.(depending who you're talking to), site in the Southeastern United States. It was very exciting and fun to include here, as it covers my face entirely. While it isn't the coolest thing I've ever found, it is, by far, the largest sherd we found on that site, and perfect for the Avatar/Image here.
Reviews keep my story going. There is no reason to hide that fact and I don't see it as a negative thing. For whatever reason, there seem to be a few people on this site that thinks those of us writing for reviews is somehow taboo. If it weren't for the review system on this site, 'Night Fire' would never have gotten as far as it has. Furthermore, people leave reviews because they like what they are reading. As long as people continue to enjoy what I'm doing here, I'll continue to write it, because nothing is more motivating and satisfying to an author than praise for his/her work. I truly thank everyone that reviews from the bottom of my heart. Each one, long or short, means so much to me. I shout from the highest mountain, "I WRITE FOR REVIEWS!" because I am not ashamed of that fact. They motivate me to write the best I can, to give my stories my all, and there's nothing wrong with that. I thank everyone who leaves reviews and appreciate you taking the time to do it. I will make a concerted effort to leave them for chapters/stories that I like as well. I know how much they mean to my fellow authors here.
A lot of what I've included below will seem a bit firm, but I do not like plagiarism and I do not like art theft, both of which has happened to me far too often than I would like to remember. I will no longer sit around and let people take advantage of me or my work. If you are interested in using something of mine in your own work, ask me first. I am a regular person just like everybody else, so don't be afraid to send me a PM; I won't bite. (It is when I find you copying me without so much as a whisper of asking or an inkling of credit that I bite;))
To other FF authors: We are all amateurs here, but some professionalism and common courtesy should be expected, and isn't too much to ask. We are obviously drawing heavily from other ideas, such as Transformers, but when we do come up with something on our own, it is considered our own intellectual property. So, asking for ideas and giving credit for them is most appreciated. That is why we give credit to the creators of Transformers in the first place.
We aren't making jack for our work on these fics. Obviously, we still do it, because it is great fun, to be honest. So, in my case, I am working for reviews and for credit when someone is inspired by my work, or wants to use my ideas. That is better satisfaction than getting paid, IMHO, so please keep that in mind. To know that I've inspired someone and to be recognized for that inspiration is immensely rewarding. So, if someone inspires you to write, or inspires you to add something to your existing work, then think of them in your author's notes. Thank you:)
FICS INSPIRED BY 'NIGHT FIRE' AND/OR USING IDEAS FROM MY STORY:
Fics using my carrying and carry holds/ carry chamber idea (as is written in 'Night Fire'). This idea IS NOT a part of the Transformers history. I developed this idea. The concept does not belong to Hasbro, Paramount, IDW, or any other Tranformers franchise. This is my concept and I have all the documentation to prove it (I am having to add this in due to someone telling me that they thought this was Transformers canon and then someone else not understanding that we still have intellectual property rights over our plotlines and concepts). This concept is NOT canon and I am the holder of all intellectual property rights over it. Keep in mind that I'm speaking of the concept as I have developed it in the story 'Night Fire.' For example, people say 'carrying' all the time in their stories as applied to 'pregnant' Cybertronians. People even use the term 'carry chambers' to refer to the reproductive chamber of a femme, which is perfectly fine. It's not the terms that I'm concerned with; it's the way they are used. My 'carrying' concept and 'carry hold' concept is a lot different (especially since it is not a 'pregnancy.' I don't believe that an alien race from another planet would have children like humans do, much less a robotic one). I don't explain it here, as it is explained fully within the context of the story. Here are links to fics using the idea. These fics are amazing:

None of these authors can give you permission to use carrying/carry holds or my plotline, especially since it isn't their idea to begin with. Just because I have given another author permission to use something of mine doesn't mean that author has any right to it. I retain all rights to carrying/carry holds no matter how many other authors I give permission to use it in their stories (and they know that because it is part of the conditions in which they are allowed to use the idea). It is the same with characters from Transformers to begin with: No matter how much I write about Ironhide in my story, he will never be my character nor do I have any rights to him. Using something of mine in your storyline doesn't give you any more rights to it than I have rights to Ironhide.
I don't mind people using the carrying/carry hold idea (when you ask me) as I love that there are so many people that like it. I also like reading stories that want to use it. It's wonderful that my story can inspire people so much. However, it is a very simple thing to ask and an even simpler thing to give proper credit. I shouldn't have to beg people to remember and do that.
According to the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, to "plagiarize" means:
A: to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own
B: to use (another's production) without crediting the source
C: to commit literary theft
D: to present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source.
This is why we give credit to the creators of Transformers. It is crediting the source. However, we still have rights as fan-fiction writers to our own plotlines and ideas. That is why I ALWAYS credit the source of what ideas I am referencing in another fan-fiction writer's work. Therefore, not crediting the source to those when you are passing them off in your storyline as yours is considered plagiarizing that writer's work, fan-fiction author or otherwise.
FICS THAT INSPIRED 'NIGHT FIRE' AND 'NEVER COULD WAIT' AND THE MAJOR IDEAS THAT ARE CREDITED WITHIN THE ANs OF THOSE STORIES (other authors that have inspired me or given me terms to include in my fic are Phoenix13, Violetlight, grlwdgrntrk, and i-love-me-some-leggypoo (specifics of which are credited within the ANs of my stories))

NOTE ON JUNE 23, 2010:
'Night Fire' is on hold and has been since April. It's not a permanent hiatus. I'm working with the oil spill chaos in the Gulf of Mexico as well as moving. I have time for little else. Thanks to everyone for their support and interest and I look forward to getting back to the story as soon as things settle down. Thank you! ('Night Fire' has resumed as of Aug. 14, 2010)
NOTE ON JULY 7, 2010:
Seems I've lost a lot of formatting in the story. A lot of pagebreaks have disappeared, so there may be some confusion during point of view changes. As soon as I can, I'll go back and put them all back in the story. I just wanted everyone to know that I am aware of the problem and am, in turn, making you all aware of it too. There are A LOT of chapters, so it will take some time, so please be patient with me. I don't know why this happens, but I seem to lose formatting once every year or so. I just haven't found the right symbol that won't get edited out at some point or another. I'll try using '8s' from now on. Those seem to remain solid dividers:) Thanks everyone!
