Just an observation after reading two profiles talking about Pluto being the 9th of 9 'regular' planets in the solar system.
Diameter (km) ~2306/~2330
Mass (x10 to 21 kg) 13.05/16.7
Density (g/cm3) 2.0/2.5
Surface Gravity (m/s2) .58/~.8
Conclusion: Eris beats Pluto in size, mass, density and gravity. Those who say Pluto is a planet need to understand science changes how everything is viewed upon greater understanding and more 'facts' are known. For instance, when facts about Venus emerged in the mid 20th century, people no longer thought it was 'similar to the Earth, just a bit warmer.'
