I have been writing fanfiction for well over two decades, with a focus on anime fic for the last several years. My most prolific fandom is the 2003 "Fullmetal Alchemist" anime, but you will find a number of other interesting (and often obscure) fandoms in my portfolio.
It should be noted that I am extremely contrarian as a fan and fic author. Unlike most people, I almost always prefer anime that diverges considerably from the source manga, and I write my stories based on that anime canon. (FMA is obviously the most significant example, and the one I feel most strongly about.) I only write selected het pairings, and I also tend toward rarepairs: in case it isn't obvious from my profile image, Edward/Noa is my OTP. Please treat my pairings with the same respect you would want for those you prefer yourself.
A note about my "Case Closed/Detective Conan" fics: yes, I use the anglicized names from the English dub. That is the adaptation of the series I am a fan of, and those are the names I am comfortable using. I've looked at other ways of handling the issue, but nothing else worked for me, so that's simply the way it has to be.
March 2016: I'm keeping busy in the realm of fic. Currently I'm having a good run of writing small one-shots for prompt challenges on Dreamwidth. I'm also continuing to work on some larger projects, including the "Blood Ties" sequel—and now an FMA/Noragami crossover, "Gods and Monsters". In the interest of gauging reader response, I have posted the first chapter of that story.
Please do not ask for updates to "Ironmongers and Alchemists". It will happen if and when the mood takes me. In the meantime, frankly, being nagged about it only has the opposite effect on my enthusiasm. I would really appreciate it if some of you would give my non-crossover FMA stories a little love instead.
Like the majority of FFN users, I am opposed to the site management's irrational decision to block copy/pasting of story text. This action has only harmed users with disabilities or limited internet access, as well as hindering readers who wish to leave thorough reviews, while it does nothing to effectively prevent the copying of works for malicious purposes.
To counter this, I invite readers to obtain the text of my stories from other locations that do not block copy/paste. If you enjoy one of my works enough to save a copy for personal reading on your own computers or devices, I consider that a compliment, and welcome you to do so at one of my other fiction archives below. (I do strongly request that you leave a review either here or there, to let me know my work is appreciated.)
