I have been writing fan fiction and original works for more than twenty years—mostly in the range of steampunk, urban fantasy, gothic horror, and a little bit of science fiction. At this time, my most prolific fandom is the 2003 "Fullmetal Alchemist" anime, but you will find a number of other interesting (and often obscure) fandoms in my portfolio.
The one thing to be said about myself—and my fic—is that I am extremely contrarian. Unlike most people, I almost always prefer anime that diverges considerably from the source manga, and I write my stories based on that anime canon. FMA is obviously the most significant example, and the one I feel most strongly about.
I only write selected het pairings. I also tend toward rarepairs. Let me put it this way: in case it isn't obvious from my profile image, Edward/Noa is my OTP. (Fair warning: if you show disrespect toward the Ed/Noa pairing or Noa's character in general, I will block you. Don't give any more grief to those who have it hard enough because they love something uncommon or unpopular.)
As an aside, over time, I've noticed that the practice of leaving feedback seems to be increasingly diminishing among FFN readers. That is highly dismaying. Please think about this, and make sure you leave a comment showing your appreciation for the effort authors put into the stories you enjoy.
AUGUST 2015: For the last several months, I have been working primarily on longform fics—including the long-awaited (for me anyway) sequel to "Blood Ties". However, I've still had a few one-shots trickling in here and there, as well as a couple of fandoms I haven't previously written.
Like the majority of FFN users, I am opposed to the site management's irrational decision to block copy/pasting of story text. This action has only harmed users with disabilities or limited internet access, as well as hindering readers who wish to leave thorough reviews, while it does nothing to effectively prevent the copying of works for malicious purposes.
To counter this, I invite readers to obtain the text of my stories from other locations that do not block copy/paste. If you enjoy one of my works enough to save a copy for personal reading on your own computers or devices, I consider that a compliment, and welcome you to do so at one of my other fiction archives below. (I do strongly request that you leave a review either here or there, to let me know my work is appreciated.)
