Author has written 3 stories for Twilight.
I'm taking a break from FanFiction for the month of November, while I participate in NaNoWriMo if you're interested in seeing what I'm doing there, or if you are participating and want to add me as a buddy, here's my profile.
It's so hard not to read the fanfics! But I didn't finish NaNo last year, and I really want to do it. I'll be back to commenting constantly once the novel's done. :) Thanks for checking in!
I'm a rabid reader (hence the ReaderRabid username), and I regularly read a book in 1-2 days, maximum. On weekends, I can read several in a day. I have Chronic Lyme disease and a bunch of other medical conditions, so I have chronic pain, and often end up being bedridden. That's part of why I read so much and have a laptop - I'm in too much pain if I try to sit at a regular computer desk.
I'm a wife and mom in my mid-thirties, with 3 daughters under age 10. I'm almost embarrassed to admit this here, because several of the writers I like so much are young enough to be my children. It's a bit discomforting to think about someone with that age gap who is writing so well. I grew up writing, but hid it, because my parents were both English majors, and my mom's an editor and published author. I love reviews, but tend to take any criticism very personally.
My avatar is my dog Jack, an Australian Cattle Dog, who is cuddly, warm, and my shadow. He reminds me of the werewolves in the Twilight series, and since I'm writing a couple fanfics with werewolves as main characters, I thought it made sense to post my inspiration. Though I might have romantic interests in the Twilight werewolves, I have no such interests in my dog. Ick! Get your mind out of the gutter! ;)
I've been loving the Twilight vampire fanfiction here, and look forward to exploring the ones about Christine Feehan's Dark Ones, Harry Potter, and others.
I've got an unhealthy obsession with vampires, and have now read everything by Stephenie Meyer (she started it!), Christine Feehan, Katie MacAlister/Katie Maxwell, Kathy Love, the Southern Vampire series, and a whole lot of others. It also spawned a love of werewolf/shapeshifter books as well.
I write book reviews for fun and profit (regular money and Amazon money), which helps to keep me in books. I also write a few blogs and have a jewelry business selling jewelry with sea glass.
I have a lot of things I should be doing instead of reading books & fanfiction. Lots of things. But, um, oh well. ;) This will be my second year participating in NaNoWriMo, and am warming up for this year by writing a couple of Twilight fanfics.
