Author has written 22 stories for King Arthur, Lord of the Rings, Inheritance Cycle, Silmarillion, and Dragon Age.
Now, since you are here, dear reader of these few words, I may safely assume that who/what kind of writer I am interests you. Therefore, I hope that the following bits of info will answer your questions. If not... Go on, click on that Send Message button!
Who: aspiring novelist and great fanfiction fan; I write because I love reading, I love the emotion that some of the most beautiful stories can bring, this mixture of marvelous joy at the quality of the writing and sadness that it's over.
Why: If my work can bring the same kind of feeling that a good story gives me to at least one person, somewhere in this world, my efforts will not be wasted. This is also why I love reviews: they let me know that I have succeeded in my goals, or that there are points that need to be corrected: either way, I helps me greatly. So if my stories didn't leave you indifferent: let me know, even long after they are finished. I read and reply to all my reviews.
How: with the help of a beta, mostly, in order to get rid of those spelling errors (I'm an ESL - English as a Second Language). So if you see any mistakes that have slipped past our guard, please tell me! And for my fellow writers, if you happen to like the same fandoms and/or need any assistance concerning the skills necessary for medieval times: riding, archery, fencing, clothing and smithery... See my forum. The other staff members and I will be delighted to help.
What: I am a Hopeless Romantic, so mostly romance. Some drama, too, because dramatic romance is even better! :P No smut (not anymore, I've matured past the point where love has to be proven by a sex scene), no Mary-Sues (hopefully), no 10th walkers (I do have a weakness for the girl-falls-into-Middle-earth scenario, though). Action/adventure should be a more prominent genre from now on, reflecting my personal journey as an author. And if you like poetry and would like to check out my poems, see my FictionPress page.or my
And finally, a few examples of my favourite pieces of literature should complete the picture much better than if I told you my favourite actor or that I love pizza...
Poems: "This be the verse" by Philip Larkin, "If" by Rudyard Kipling and "Invictus" by William Ernest Henley
Books: "The Man who Laughs" by V. Hugo, "La Glace et la Nuit" by L. Silhol, "Bilbo the Hobbit" by J. R. R. Tolkien; anything by S. Lynch, P. Ruthfuss, T. Pratchett, Brent Weeks and D. Gemmell
Short stories: pretty much anything by O. Henry and H. C. Andersen, and "Scarlet Sails" by Alexander Grin
