He watches as I weep
I love books in general! Although I do adore those by Mitch Albom, Alice Hoffman and Garth Nix. (I'll probably be murdered for the next few lines.) I think the Harry Potter series has just a 'Wow!' plot, but I don't really fancy JKRowling's writing style. And I think the Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series has a terrible plot, but has writing worth reading. Yes, I should probably run for cover from the barrells of potatoes that are about to be thrown at me.
I'm a sucker for all movies as well, but I'm rather partial to those with action, fantasy and romance. I cannot stomach plotless movies that exist only to bring out gore and fluff. I especially love movies like AI and the many Disney classics such as Anastasia, Mulan and the Lion King, although recent Disney live-action movies I have found to be total crap. :D
My stories (or what little I have of them) are usually of OCs because it's really wonderful to work on your own characters and give them life and stuff. My OCs are female because I am, and it's easier to bring out the character, and so much more realistic. I try my very best to stay away from the normal conventional stereotyped females though, like the ever-happy, and the ever-lucky, and the ever-unlucky, and especially the abandoned-and/or-abused. Ania for example, has anger issues that has nothing whatsoever to do with her upbringing. Probably hormones.
I have been MIA for quite some time now, and I really am terribly sorry for causing any grief. I know how sucky it is to have to wait for a story update. I've been very very busy lately with school and a project to be carried out in Cambodia, so all I've been doing is actually looking back at what I've written and realizing that they completely lacked substance in every way possible. My Pirates of the Caribbean fanfic has been deleted because it's total crap, and I'm relooking at The Auror and The Other Exorcist. The former because it had begun quite precariously and the latter because it had started out as a shameless experiment of inserting a woman into the world of demons and exorcisms. I plan to continue both stories, so don't worry! Sequels and prequels have even already been outlined for the Auror. I'd like to thank all my readers who still continue to anticipate my updates, and I really hope your wait (if you've waited) is well deserved.
I've added another story, Rain, to my pathetic collection that will explore a different style of writing - one that is more classic and contemporary. If anyone would like to bravely wait for each new chapter that comes along, it might be quite a painful wait because the story is not set in this time, and I'm an agonizingly slow researcher. Thanks though, if you still hold determination to do so!
I love readers just as much as I love reading, so I hope you enjoy the stories, and do tell me what you think!
I'm back from my hundred year long hiatus! School's been mad these past months; but I've just completed my A Levels, SO IT'S FREEDOM FROM NOW ON. And I can write more. I owe all my reader's a very sincere apology for having disappointed them. I really am truly sorry, and I will try to make it up to you guys with even better edits and stories.
Lots of love,
