Author has written 3 stories for Tsubasa Chronicle, Hikaru no Go, Harry Potter, and Walking Dead.
It's been one and a half year since I updated my stories. People have been sending me messages asking how things are and I feel so bad to leave you guys hanging about updates that never came. Someone suggested to me to write a "status" session on my profile to explain things and maybe update it once a month to keep you guys up to date with things.
So I'm having a lot of things to deal with right now, family issues, stress and the likes. It's been a crazy year. Parents got divorce. Dad moved out as a result. One of my sisters and her husband are separated now without divorce and she and her daughter are now living with us. My niece started school this year and I've been the one to take her to and pick her up from school since everyone is so busy with their job and I'm the only one working from home so my time is more flexible. My youngest sister recently got married and seems to be pretty happy with her new life now. Really happy for her.
There's also my job that's kinda demanding. While working from home means my time is more flexible, it doesn't mean I have a lot of time to do things. I've been losing a lot of sleep because of work right now. Most people have this misconception that working from home is fun, you don't have a boss breathing down your neck and can take a break whenever you want.
That's a lot of bull.
Working in an office or a studio means a definite working hour. Usually 8am to 5pm. And then it's freedom until the next day. You don't have to think much about work until you're back in the office/studio.
Working from home means a lot of obstacles to tackle to keep your discipline and schedules. The temptation to sleep a lot (the bed is both your savior and your mortal enemy). Family keep asking to help with things around the house. Bills and bank loan to pay means a lot of working hours since I'm the main income source in the house now or we'll lose the house and I'm paid by commissions. Deadlines to chase and clients that don't always care if it's the middle of the night or holidays with family. Once there was this client and I was only two hours late past deadline and I already explained the reason beforehand, yet he asked for half refund even after he said he understood and when refused he rated me with two stars out of five. The cheapskate!
Free time is a luxury I rarely get these days.
I really hope you guys would forgive me for the terribly delayed updates on my stories. I'm trying the best I can but it's just isn't the same as when I started my stories back then. I was jobless at the time, living off my still then together parents, with a lot of free time watching tv shows and writing fanfics and novel... Oh yeah, my novel is just as neglected as my fanfic. //cry TT_TT
Anyway, that's it for now. Would update you guys next month if I have the time and remember. Once again, so terribly sorry, guys.
See ya next time!
