Hey everyone...

So I'm sure many of you are wondering where the hell I've been. I've had a rough go of things the past few years. My Mother's gone through three heart surgeries, I've moved twice, broke up with my GF and BF, entered another poly relationship with a BF and GF, and my little brother passed away from cancer this past December- he was 25. I'm 27 as of right now. And now, as I'm writing this, I am preparing for a surgery of my own.

I have a very rare type of cyst in my brain, and it's been causing some serious medical problems for a while now that I had just thought was stress. Anyways, they're getting worse, and I have to have surgery. The doctors won't let me work anymore, which I really enjoyed doing, and I hope this is all sorted out soon so I can get back to...everything else. But there is a chance that I may not recover as quickly as I hope, or at all.

Needless to say, there may be a period of time where I may be unable to write. Which is why I've been posting all my WIP in the Variety stories, since I want all of you to see what I've been working on, since I may not be able to finish them.

Anyways, for those of you who are new, I am Hecateslover. I've been writing HP fanfiction since 2005 (though some have been deleted over the years, so you will not find them). I have an epic amount of hits on my stories, and I know stuff has been posted and translated elsewhere by my readers. That's cool, as long as you let me know! I am flattered when people re-post my work on other sites, as long as they give me credit where it is due. I only read and post on this site, and I don't mind others spreading my stories to other sites.

I like slash, femslash, and het, but my fav. pairing is HPSS. You could probably tell with all my stories that I like a bit of variety, though.

A lot of my stories have BDSM. Just a warning, there. There also typically is some cross-dressing, transgender stuff too. Most of my stories are pretty long, and kind of chaotic- so keep up! AND THEY ARE ALL RATED M FOR A REASON. Don't tell me I didn't warn you, because I do. I will ignore complaints or flames about stuff I warned you about, but I will appreciate any criticism you may have that will help me to improve my work. I edit all of my own work- I've tried working with a Beta, but I just work better on my own.

By the way, all the art work that I use on my story icons are my own. I've been published in a few books and magazines, and I've also been in art festivals and exhibitions pretty regularly since I've been fourteen. Lately, I've only been painting and things from home, unable to get out and about like I used to. Hopefully after I get better, I'll be able to do the things I used to.
