Love my ships.
Admirer of exquisite writing.
Own too many tea cups and coffee mugs.
Can get teary-eyed at beautiful vistas.
Not very attached to canon or endgame as a rule of thumb. I ship because of a number of various factors: being canon or endgame isn't one of them.
Cozy notions make me all warm 'n fuzzy inside. . . like curling up in a window seat on a rainy day with a good book and a cup of hot tea while the rain beats against the glass, or settling in by a soft fire on an autumn night and wrapping your hands around a steaming mug of cider.

Dusting off my writing fingers after a long hiatus! Feel free to peruse my stories, I hope one strikes a chord! Don't feel you have to leave a long or literary comment/review—although if you want to, I'd love it! Short reviews like "Awwww!" are received w/open arms, as are reviews on my older stories.

WCTH/WCTH-adjascent alt/canon pairings I don't ship nor have any intention of writing together:
Allie/Robert
Elizabeth/Lucas
Lillian/Gabriel
Abigail/Bill
*Clara/Jesse I didn't have any special antipathy towards, just boredom and irk, so I might mention them together in a story (or not!) but I won't spend any time on them. Faith/Carson also fall into the same category. Mei/Hickam as well.
A note about my WCTH ship (Nathan/Elizabeth) as a #Departie author:
I don't write/read/review them in alt romantic pairings with other people. For me, this perpetuates the astounding lie born on our screens in S8 Ep12 and I refuse to go along with it. The only exception I could see—just me personally—is if, for instance, the alt ship takes place in a timeline or universe where either N or E doesn't exist. . . and never did. But to be painfully honest, my interest isn't piqued by alt pairings for Nathan or Elizabeth. :/ The same goes for my WHC ship (Sam/Lillian). I lost both my ships, but their magic lives on in my head, and from time to time I try to translate some of that to "pen and paper." Not sure how well I succeed—but I try! ;)
Update—Oct. '23: Well, would you lookee thar—looks like I may not have lost Nathan/Elizabeth after all. Hallmark/TPTB swallowed their pride and did the right thing. Will wonders never cease. (Yes, that's sarcasm. No, not sorry.) I'll never forget what they did onscreen or how we (TN) were treated off-screen, and S11 better contain apologies from E to N for her Elizawitch era and The Big Lie she jabbed into his heart in the S8E12 Mountie Office scene. . . but at least it looks like they're on the right path and the ship is being righted. The Truth is finally coming true on WCTH. And this nonsensical claim that S10 was the retcon? Snort. Yeah, no. S8 was The Retcon of integrity/consistency/canon, followed by the lies/gut punch of let's-twist-the-knife-further-S9. Now they're getting back to the truth—and to do that they have to retcon The Retcon. They're retconning the lies to right the ship. 'Bout time.
December 2022: The Fanfiction site has changed their story notification policy. Unless you go into your account and select YES where it asks you 'Do You Wish to Receive Notifications Via Email?', you will not receive notifications about stories you've faved/followed, authors you've faved/followed, DM's, etc. And you'll have to select YES every 6 months or else you'll stop receiving notifications again.
This new policy is difficult for both writers and authors. Some authors have reported massive drops in readership, some by fifty perfect or more, because readers are not getting notified of new chapters or stories. This can devastate fandoms. Many readers will assume a story they were following has been abandoned because they're not seeing any update notifications, or won't know when an favorite author has uploaded a new story. And many writers will let stories wither on the vine because there seems to be little interest in it.
