Author has written 7 stories for Stargate: Atlantis, Due South, and Emergency.
I just recently started writing because well, I had an itch. Stargate Atlantis (and SG-1) really is just a fun show with so many great characters. I was really fascinated by the whole gene thing and particularly why it all comes so easy to Sheppard. So that is what my first fic is about. I hope to write more but I am realzing how much this really takes!
I am Shepcentric because when you write about a character you have to imagine what he looks like and who better to imagine than him? I might throw in a bit of whump as well, but I don't think I write too darkly. I am just not keen on exploring what makes a person break or see them humiliated. Frankly, Sheppard to me is not the kind of person that would ever truly lose it. He is the kind of person that could be a POW, a holocaust survior and yes be changed, but never lose his mind or his identity. But that is just me, so I think my writing will have angst as he struggles to process things that challenge him. But don't hold me to all this. Something weird might just take over my brain.
Thanks for reading and your comments. I really hope to improve.
Update February 2011-Well I now have a couple of stories under my belt and have written one for Due South, Emergency! and hopefully soon Flashpoint. I truly enjoy this forum to explore writing and characters. I tend to write team but with a focus on one character as you will notice if you read my story. If you do read a story any feedback is appreciated. My goal is always to improve if I can. It is hard to write with a full time job and two young kids (a third if you count hubby!) but I enjoy it and always want to do my best.
