Life Motto: “Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” --J.K. Rowling
Likes: writing, reading manga and other literature (usually mystery, historical fiction, or fantasy novels), anime, learning about other cultures or languages, listening to music, being a hopeless nostalgic, watching movies, and hanging out with my friends. Also playing lots of rpg maker games.
Dislikes: Suffice to say I don't like twits who take the 'constructive' part out of constructive criticism, and in general I don't like bigots, racists, or bullies.
Fun Facts: I'm very nostalgic by nature and watch movie/tv show bloopers to feel better and get me out of writing funks.
OTPs (in no particular order):
Behind War There Is Love: This story has been deleted for good. I apologize to those who followed and favorited it, but I no longer felt comfortable writing it. I seriously worked on trying to retool/reboot it a second time, but no matter which way I tried to make sense of it, it just wouldn't work. I have the fic saved on a document on my computer, and if anyone wishes to have what was on here to read for their personal enjoyment, private message me and I can see about sending it to you. However, I don't approve of people reposting my fic and taking it as their own, even a fic that I don't like as much as this one, so don't ask me for the saved version with that in mind. ...I'm wary of someone adopting the fic but, like I said, private message me and we'll see. I will certainly do more YuGiOh fanfics in the future, but I won't continue this one.
Rival Unraveled: This fic is going to get rebooted in the next few weeks because I admittedly do not ship Ryuhou and Kazuma romantically and was writing the fic that way because I was collaborating with a pal of mine who did ship them. I feel like if I continued the fic, I'd be forcing it, and that's not conducive to writing a good fic (or anything really). I did finally find the plot points I planned out, and I still wanna get the plot going and stuff. _ Especially considering S-Cry-Ed Alteration has come out for the anniversary and I'm definitely not deleting this fic since I can see a way to improve it without forcing stuff. There will probably be no pairings except the canon Tachibana and Cammy. That said, keep a lookout for the update version.
A Big Brother's Weight: Chapter 4's coming soon. Having to redo the outline.
Familiar Face: So many people have done amazing Woody-Meets-Bo-again fanfics, some of them much better than anything I was planning for this fic. This may be the only fic I discontinue. We'll just have to see.
Another Relative: This fic is about to be updated soon. Chapter two is almost done and ready. I was planning to update on Halloween but... life issues popped up and postponed it again. Hopefully you patient peeps will enjoy the long awaited second and third chapters when they get here.
Over Protective: This is another Toy Story fic. It's a oneshot. Basically it's an analysis over the bonds between our favorite group of toys, and how Jessie and Buzz will never let the unbreakable trio be broken no matter what happens. I wrote in right after I saw the third film, pretty much.
Holiday Cheer: A oneshot I wrote after watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas live-action movie during one Christmas. I hope I achieved in making it a heartwarming little oneshot for the holidays. As inappropriate as the movie can be at times, I do find some parts of it very sweet. Blame the nostalgia goggles.
The Power of Kings: A crossover between Sherlock Holmes (canon stories by Doyle) and Code Geass. I hope that this fic is a success, because I admit it has a lot of potential and I'm very excited to be writing it. For those who are curious, it basically involves Watson being an unusual sort of Geass user and Holmes has no idea of this until he investigates into it. It was also a good opportunity to write C.C., who I will love to write interacting with Holmes and Watson. Just to get it across though, there ARE NOT pairings in this story. I ship C.C. and Lelouch, and as he isn't born for centuries yet, she is still single. She will not take an interest in Holmes or Watson, at least not romantically.
Stitching the Gaps: Just a plot bunny I had that I decided to finally publish in honor of Tim Drake's birthday (July 19). Watching Lilo and Stitch kinda reminded me of the Bat Family and I thought 'what better present for Tim than to have Damian get a clue and be nice'? I admit my writing on this is very on the nose, and I kinda tell more than show what the reader can infer. But remember I was writing this as stress relief when I was being run ragged in school and so yeah, that happens. I was planning to leave it a one-shot, but by popular demand, I will add a second chapter featuring Jason. And with that chapter, I'll show more than tell and be at my best when writing it. Thanks for all the constructive criticism. I'll leave the first chapter as it is though that way my progress as a writer can be seen in the second chapter.
Making the World See Again: A fanfiction for one of my all-time favorite video games, The Cat Lady by Harvester Games. I had a dream involving two characters meeting, and with a lot of encouragement from friends, decided to give this story a try. I've been working on it since summer, very afraid I'd not do the characters justice, but I think I'm comfortable enough now writing it to give it a shot. The story is basically an AU of the Golden Ending of the game (which is very hard to get and not the canon ending according to the creator of the game). As such, it focuses on Mitzi, not Susan.
Redamancy: I've been wanting to write a fic for Anya and Dimitri, and due to recent events, I finally buckled down and started writing it. I'm making the plot up as I go, basing it on what I've always envisioned to be the ups and downs Anya and Dimitri would face post-elopement. They come to terms with the past slowly but surely, and start building their future. I guess in some ways this is the most slice-of-life fic I've written so far. I've started to notice I have a penchant for the genre, so this could be my first foray into it. We'll see where it leads.
Collab Stories: I'm collaborating with my friend bowtiesandbombshells on an Inuyasha fic called Facets of a Face. She tells me what she envisions and I write it out since I'm more descriptive to detail, then she edits the grammar I missed and posts it on hers. Go take a look at my fav authors and check her page for our story. Though lately, we really haven't gotten that much time to get together and collaborate on it, so it may be a while before it's updated.
Other Stories: I have a few new fics about to make their debut! A Harry Potter AU and a crossover fic.

I look forward to getting many reviews but please, no flames. The saying is fight fire with fire, but I'm more of a water-type person. Also, if you criticize me in a way that's not constructive or aren't even in a position to give complaints (like when you do nothing BUT hate on others' writing), be aware that you're really immature and I will ignore you with a practiced ease.
If, however, you are very nice and mature about issues you have with my grammar or just want to offer tips, and especially if you discuss or review in a concise and polite manner, I will be interested in starting a discussion with you to see if I can improve or explain something said reader may not understand. Also just to share views without being crazy about it. Since sometimes typos slip past me, any help in pointing them out is appreciated.
Notes of Interest:
I am a full-time college student dealing with varied, time-consuming health problems at the moment, so expect my updates to be slow. That said, since the waits between updates can stretch a bit, I try to make sure the quality of each new chapter or oneshot makes up for the wait that led up to it. If I manage to get some break time between college and my health issues, there may come a day where I updated multiple things in one day or uploaded another one.
I am not a beta, nor do I use one, for I prefer to edit my own work.
That said, I don't mind proofreading for friends and or helping to put story ideas into words like I did for my friend bowtiesandbombshells.
I also like help on my fanfics if I'm unsure of something, like the great reviewers for Familiar Face who helped me remember some names.
Answers to standout reviews are usually addressed at the end of the following chapter, so it's less likely to break the flow of the narrative.
If you favorite me as an author, I am graciously flattered.
