Status: College has started up again, but the schedule and the predicted homework load isn't too much to handle in regards to giving me some free time. I've been planning lots of chapters for things in advance, so it'll be easy for me to just find a time slot one day and just dive into writing them. Thanks for your patience concerning my updates.
Life Motto: “Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” --J.K. Rowling
Likes: I love writing; usually fanfics but also an original novel/pet-project of mine and some poetry. I also adore reading; preferably mystery novels, historical fiction, the occasional paranormal mystery, and some manga. I also like watching anime and a small bit of tv; I recently haven't had time to catch up on newer series, but I indulge a lot in rewatching old favorites. I'm also very fond of music; instrumental, some classical, cabaret jazz, and my favorite band is Florence and the Machine.
Dislikes: Suffice to say I don't like twits who take the 'constructive' part out of constructive criticism, and in general I don't like bigots, racists, bullies, or otherwise reprehensible people who get a kick out of the suffering of others.
Fun Facts: Watching bloopers for movies and the like is a great way for me to get out of writing funks.
OTPs (in no particular order):
I'm aware I listed three from Dangan Ronpa. I like them all equally, so I couldn't choose. It's Naegi's fault for getting along with nearly /everyone/.
Rival Unraveled: This fic is going to get rebooted soon because I admittedly do not ship Ryuhou and Kazuma romantically and was writing the fic that way because I was collaborating with a pal of mine who did ship them. I feel like if I continued the fic, I'd be forcing it, and that's not conducive to writing a good fic (or anything really). I did finally find the plot points I planned out, and I still wanna get the plot going and stuff. Especially considering S-Cry-Ed Alteration has come out for the anniversary and I'm definitely not deleting this fic since I can see a way to improve it without forcing stuff. The only pairing I know for sure will be there is canon-established Tachibana and Cammy.
A Big Brother's Weight: Finally got Chapter 4 out. Hope all of you enjoy it. The characters voices took the chapter in a direction I didn't anticipate, but I decided to go with it since it felt more natural for the conversation to go that way. That said, it means I have to reshuffle the future chapters to get what wasn't said then said later on. We'll see how it goes.
Familiar Face: I discontinued this fic. After Toy Story 3, there were so many other Bo meets up with Woody again fics, some of which had some better ideas and plots than what I had originally intended for this fic. Now that Toy Story 4 has been announced to bring Bo Peep back, well... yeh. I'm leaving it up because who knows? Maybe I'll have a new idea as to where to take it after I see Toy Story 4.
Another Relative: This fic ran into some timeline issues in terms of the events and how things were going. Thankfully, it's easily fixable. Going to replan the 5 chapters I had planned and then try to update the story over the course of October, provided life allows me the time to do so.
Over Protective: This is another Toy Story fic that I've recently revised. It basically amounts to a oneshot analysis exploring the bonds and interpersonal relationships between the members of our favorite group of toys after the events of the third movie as they adjust to living in Bonnie's room. The title itself comes from Buzz and Jessie's worry that they might be overprotective of Woody, but given the circumstances, that's not exactly a bad thing.
Holiday Cheer: A oneshot I wrote after watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas live-action movie during one Christmas. I hope I achieved in making it a heartwarming little oneshot for the holidays. As inappropriate as the movie can be at times, I do find some parts of it very sweet. Blame the nostalgia goggles.
The Power of Kings: A crossover between Sherlock Holmes (canon stories by Doyle) and Code Geass. It involves Watson being an unusual sort of Geass user and Holmes has no idea of this until he investigates into it. It was also a good opportunity to write C.C., who I will love to write interacting with Holmes and Watson. Just to get it across though, there ARE NO pairings in this story -- C.C. does not romantically get involved with either Holmes or Watson. I ship her and Lelouch, and as he isn't scheduled to be born for centuries yet, C.C. will remain single.
Stitching the Gaps: A plot bunny I fished out of my ponderings and published on Tim Drake's birthday (July 19). Watching Lilo and Stitch kinda reminded me of the Bat Family and I thought 'what better present for Tim than to have Damian get a clue and be nice'? I admit my writing on this is very on the nose, and I kinda tell more than show what the reader can infer. However, I was writing it as stress relief during a trying period of my life... which can better explain the writing. I would revise it, but I think in this instance I'll opt to just add the requested second chapter featuring Jason, which is being written recently, to see the progress I've had in my writing skills. Thanks for all the constructive criticism. Also, apparently I need to point this out: the fic was published on Tim's birthday. The events of the story do NOT take place on Tim's birthday. If they had, Nightwing would've made it a huge celebration in the pursuit of being the over-enthusiastic big brother he is.
Making the World See Again: A fanfiction for one of my all-time favorite video games, The Cat Lady by Harvester Games. I had a dream involving two characters meeting, and with a lot of encouragement from friends, decided to give this story a try. The story is basically an AU of the Golden Ending of the game (which is very hard to get and not the canon ending according to the creator of the game). As such, it focuses on Mitzi, not Susan.
Redamancy: I've been wanting to write a fic for Anya and Dimitri, and due to recent events, I finally buckled down and started writing it. I'm making the plot up as I go, basing it on what I've always envisioned to be the ups and downs Anya and Dimitri would face post-elopement. They come to terms with the past slowly but surely, and start building their future. I guess in some ways this is the most slice-of-life fic I've written so far. I've started to notice I have a penchant for the genre, so this could be my first foray into it. We'll see where it leads.
Other Stories: I'm currently working on a universal system for one of my fics, which basically amounts to a huge crossover. That's all I'm gonna say about it, though.

I look forward to getting many reviews but please, no flames. The saying is fight fire with fire, but I'm more of a water-type person who would rather just douse the nay-sayers in an attempt to get them to chill. Also, if you criticize me in a way that's not constructive, be aware that you're really immature and I will ignore you with a practiced ease.
If, however, you are very nice and mature about issues you have with my grammar or just want to offer tips, and especially if you discuss or review in a concise and polite manner, I will be interested in starting a discussion with you to see if I can explain something said reader may not understand or improve my own abilities through ideas and tips offered by fellow writers. Also just to share views without being crazy about it. Since sometimes typos slip past me, any help in pointing them out is appreciated.
Notes of Interest:
I am a full-time college student dealing with varied, time-consuming health problems at the moment, so expect my updates to be slow. That said, since the waits between updates can stretch a bit, I try to make sure the quality of each new chapter or oneshot I publish/update makes up for the wait that led up to it. If I manage to get some break time between college and my health issues, there may come a day where I updated multiple things in one day or published another/different one.
I am not a beta, nor do I use one, as I prefer to edit my own work.
That said, I do usually get a consensus on my writing from close friends before I publish something, as they're with me in the planning stages regularly.
I also like help on my fanfics if I'm unsure of something, like the great reviewers for Familiar Face who helped me remember some names for minor characters.
Answers to standout reviews are usually addressed at the end of the following chapter, so it's less likely to break the flow of the narrative.
If you favorite me as an author, I am graciously flattered that you enjoy my writing and thank you for your support.
