I am an avid fan of all things Sci-Fi and Fantasy. I have loved all things Star Trek or Star Wars since I was really little. I also love stories like Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. I really enjoy reading fanfiction about the shows and movies I like, which are many and varied. It helps keep them alive. I find horror fun too. Historical fiction is something else I enjoy as well.
I am also I huge movie buff and have to go out and see one at least once a week or I go through withdrawal. The movies I see influence a lot of my writing and ideas. I am the constant what if... girl. I tend to read a lot too and that influences how and what I write about along with what I watch. I love that there are websites out there like this one that let's fans continue or add to our favorite TV shows and movies.
I took some time off from writing because I was working on earning my MBA - Masters in Business Administration degree - and other things in life caused me to pause in my story creating. I have now received my MBA and I am all done with it! YEAH!! My life has not slowed down, but the need to write and create has finally come back. I think all the MBA paper writing I had to do may have had something to do with losing the desire to write for a while as well. So even though I have been done with my MBA for a while, it has taken some time to pass before the desire to write for fun came back.
I am still working on a sequel to Iron Maiden that includes some Avengers stuff. I don't know how long it will take because my muse comes and goes with it.
I am working on a new story that is almost finished, that is a story based on the new Star Trek reboot - with Khan at the center. Kinda liked how they re-envisioned him.
I have also started on some original stories that I may eventually post on the sister site to this one for original fiction.
As always, I crave reviews, so please leave them when you can. I like encouragement and appreciate pointers in making my stories better.
