Author has written 8 stories for Danny Phantom, and Harry Potter.
NOTHING BELONGS TO ME UNLESS I SAY SO, WHICH WILL NOT HAPPEN VERY OFTEN AT ALL. Just in case I forget in my stories. ;D
Name: Carissa. If you must call me a nickname, I'll go by any you'll come up with for me if I don't find it degrading.
Age: 18. I'll be 19 on May 27, 2013.
Current obsessions: Danny Phantom, How To Train Your Dragon, Nightmare Before Christmas, Harry Potter, and Teen Titans.
Beta status: ACTIVE. ACCEPTING REQUESTS. My beta profile is active if you want to check it out. As of right now (December 13, 2012), I currently beta for two different Danny Phantom fics. They are:
Fangirl status: Over many and frequently. But not too obnoxiously. Enough to freak some people out, however...
Shipping references in fanfiction: I don't know what it is about canon that I love. I love anything that is well-written (my favorite fanfiction is a Harry Potter fic where NONE of the ships are canon), but I will always have a special spot in my heart for the canon couples. (Except Harry Potter. Ginny/Harry in the movies is so awkward. Curse your Harmony ways, David Yates!)

I pride myself on my DP fanart, though I am no where NEAR the best. I've been doing it since the sixth or seventh grade, and I'm in eleventh. Before I started drawing DP I couldn't draw to save my LIFE. I guess that's one of the reasons I'm obsessed with it - it created another outlet for me. Thanks so much, Mr. Butch Hartman.
INTERNATIONAL DP DAY OF ANGST
"The DP Day of Angst is on October 1 and was started by a bunch of ff.net authors complaining about how the fandom has basically been flooded with romance stories. Honestly, you can't look down the front page and see a summary that doesn't have a pairing indicated in it somewhere. So on October 1 a group of ff.net writers are getting together to flood the front page with good old angst." (quoted by a friend and not the DP-Angst Club)
Standards I have set for myself in writing:
I will not cuss. I don't like to. If I do, someone's either hacked into my account or it's a typo. Which you should take to me that my stories will never have a main character as a duck unless I am challenged to do so and I have a beta XD I will say crap, crud, shoot, frick, etc. In MY opinion - not necessarily yours - they are not curse words. Also, I might imply a cuss word. For example, I might cut off a character before they actually swear. Even if it's canon for that character. The only exception is if I am actually quoting canon as it happens in my story, as exemplified by something Neville Longbottom says in the last chapter of my story, The Tom Riddle Chronicles.
I will not write slash/yaoi, yuri, gore, or anything rated M. Ever.
I will not post until I think I have done the best I can for the piece - or I've worked on it so much that I'm sick of looking at it.
I will always try and finish what I start. It might not be done in a timely manner (I can almost guarantee it WON'T), but it will get done. At some point.
I will always, always, always reply to my reviews from this point forward (December 13, 2012). I love and appreciate every one of you who review.
Too many to be listed! Sigh. Harry Potter series, Twilight Saga, Maximum Ride series, The House of the Scorpion, Inkheart Trilogy, Inheritance Cycle, Daughters of the Moon series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, Gallagher Girl series, Wicked (along with Son of A Witch), Ender's Game (and the rest of the saga), Ender's Shadow, Pecry Jackson series, The Lost Hero, Inheritance Trilogy, Sweetblood, Cry of the Icemark, and...way, waaaaaay more that I can't remember right now. And How To Train Your Dragon, but the movie is SOOOOOO much better...
Uh...A lot? XD I like comedies. Kid comedies, romantic comedies, action comedies - I don't care as long as it makes me laugh. I don't like stupid humor though (like Spongebob). I really like The Lion King 2; Simba's Pride, and The Nightmare Before Christmas and Heart & Souls are my two most amazingly favorite movies. How To Train A Dragon is also quite high on the list. (It's at the top, actually.) Oh, and Megamind, and Tangled, and Despicable Me. MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE TOP 3 PIXAR MOVIES ARE (in order): A Bug's Life, Cars, and Cars 2. I also like the Avengers.
Favorite TV Shows:
Danny Phantom (this is more of an obsession than a favorite), Teen Titans, American Dragon; Jake Long, iCarly (kind of a lie. I only watch it for Spencer), Avatar; The Last Airbender, Firefly, Stargate SG-1. I'd probably like Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer if I ever saw it. Joss Whedon is a genius. I also like Total Drama Island. That's pretty fun. Also Psych ("Don't worry, Jules. I'll crack your case like an egg. Then we'll make omelets with shallots... and JUSTICE.") and Castle, which is just plain AMAZING. White Collar's pretty cool too.
What is life without music, really? I like old-fashioned Disney music, like The Little Mermaid soundtrack and the Hercules soundtrack (and The Lion King and Aladdin and The Nightmare Before Christmas). I like a few songs from Broadway musicals (all of Wicked and Avenue Q = FTW!). I'm a fan of Aly &AJ, a HUGE Kelly Clarkson fan, into the pop/rock and some of the alternative. Sometimes I even like the score of movies, when I'm paying attention. *COUGHHowToTrainADragonCOUGH* I've also been sucked into Glee (only after Blaine comes in. I tried watching Season 1 and I DESPISE IT). Klaine is my guilty pleasure. Mostly because Darren Criss is a subject I've been fangirling over for quite some time now (thanks to AVPM/AVPS, which he wrote the music, lyrics, and script for, as well as playing Harry in it quite well, and cofounding the company that published the musical, OH AND HE PLAYS GUITAR AND IS ATTRACTIVE AND IS REALLY TALENTED AT SINGING IT'S JUST NOT FAIR and he's adorable in interviews...he called a girl on one of his livestream things, which I know about because of youtube clips, and this girl goes "It's my birthday, I'm legal now ;D" and he replies "You're legal? You're 18 you can VOTE that's so cool :D" and just xD) as well as Chris Colfer, who's also very talented (his movie that he directed, wrote, and starred in, Struck By Lightning, will be coming out this year, and he also sings REALLY REALLY WELL IT'S JUST NOT FAIR and is even more hilarious than Darren Criss in interviews...apparently his dog is an alcoholic and that's why his parents buy wine trololol), and the two of them singing together is LUFF. And if they're together then they'll sing together more often. Their version of Perfect, by Pink...just gorgeous...Then there's A Very Potter Musical (KJSFGSDKFHEWUIFOHLSJVBDSLIGFUDHFLGAJBD;; IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT, YOUTUBE. NOW), and I particularly like the songs "King of Anything" by Sara B, and "Mood Rings" by Relient K.
STUFF ANY READERS OF MY STUFF NEED TO KNOW!
Every thing that is posted here is labeled by me as an experiment. I have never taken any classes on this, and I'm not one of those naturally good writers. If anyone is. All I know is how often people in real life tell me that I use big words or talk too fast. The only thing I have ever been educated on is structured writing, and I hate it. It limits me. So, If you think my stories are bogus, or have quite a few errors in them, that's why. I don't mind if you point them out. But these are pretty much the first things I've written outside of school other than this twelve chapter story that is over a hundred pages long but will never reveal because of many things (bad grammar, undeveloped plot, Mary-Sues, etc.). So please don't be all, "YOU SUCK" or "You'll never be a good writer" because I don't pay attention, believe it or not.
Why am I telling you to not bother flaming if I don't even care? Because I will report you. I take advantage of the abuse button. Just because I'm not affected doesn't mean anyone else isn't when you flame their stories. So, don't bother.
I love constructive criticism, though. That's a "You'll never be a good writer" with the reasons why (and they point out errors in my STORY and not in me, as pointing out errors in my personality doesn't exactly help me with my writing, which is constructive criticism). Oh! And the reviews who say I'm awesome, or really good or something. I haven't gotten many of those here yet (thanks so much to the people who gave them to me!!), but they're an enormous confidence booster. Try it, just walk up to somebody and tell them they're awesome, and walk away. I guarantee you that person will have a good day - or at least have something good to reflect on. I know it makes MY day, in any case.
Also, before you point it out, I can't write Sam in character. Check all of them, in every time she appears she's out of character. Sorry, working on it. Except maybe The Younger Trio.
Other Random Crap
YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO REVIEW MY STORIES IN ORDER TO FAV THEM OR LIKE THEM OR EVEN READ THEM.
I do like reviews, but begging for them or not updating until you get a certain amount of reviews is kinda sad except for certain circumstances. (Like, a lot of favs and hardly any reviews for quite a few chapters.) Seriously, I love those reviews...I live and breathe on them. You don't even know. (Maybe you do.) But do not feel guilty for not reviewing, because I totally get that...I myself don't review unless it evokes an emotional response from me. I found that if I reviewed every single story/chapterI read, it felt little repetitive, and the reviews I give I want to be sincere. Not only that, but some days I find I can't word properly how much I like the story and why...wow, I'm a perfectionist. I guess if I'm going to do something I know I can do right, I'm gonna do it right. (Famous last words, right?)
Let me know if you have a challenge. I love those. Heck, I'll even redo it if you think I screwed it up. I write most genres, though my humor is more satire than anything else.
If you have any questions, PM me. Seriously. I don't care if you think it's stupid, people could always use a new friend. =)
I procrastinate. Seriously. If I need to update and/or you really care about my stories, feel free to threaten my life or something or I'll never get anything done. Pathetic, huh?
I can be very bitter. I don't like being bitter but I don't know how to deal with animosity toward people who've betrayed me. So, if you don't like me, just say so, okay? What really gets me is when people are my friends and then they decide to stop treating me as such.
Oh, and one more thing...
If you don't like me because of what I write...well, that says a lot about you, buddy, doesn't it?
