Author has written 63 stories for Gundam Wing/AC.
My name's shinigamiinochi. I write gundam wing fanfiction and original stuff. I'm a horror freak and am archived at gundam wing universe.net and adultfanfiction.net. If you have glanced at my fics, you will notice that I write mostly 1x2. Note that, no 2x1, so no requests for it, please. Also, I only write yaoi or yuri, no het, or at least not for the main pairing. This holds true for my original fiction as well. Also, I've been flamed a lot and no longer have a tolerance for it, so save your keystrokes. You can bash me for my grammar. You can bash me for my plot holes. You can even bash me about structure, but do not bash me on content. I've had too many reviews saying: how dare you write about this this and this. You don't like the content, don't read. However, if you think that my spelling of a word is wrong, that a character would never do what they are doing, or any other constructive critism, I will listen to you, even if you say that I suck. I want to be a novel writer at some point, so any tips on writing are greatly appreciated. My e-mail isHope you enjoy my fics.
In my previous profile, I said that I wouldn't post any of my graphic stuff, but that has obviously changed. So, this is a warning: a vast majority of my work has disturbing and mature content. If you cannot handle this, do not read.
Also, for my original works, you can go to fictionpress or adultfanfiction.
Favorite pairing: 1x2 and Solox2.
The only fandom I'm involved in is GW, so listing more than favorite pairings would be pretty useless. I am writing Battle Vixens stuff, but since no sites have a place to put it, I don't think that it will ever be posted. I update pretty sporadically. People on adultfanfiction may notice that I will update three chapters in two days, then peter off for a few months. I don't have writers block, I'm just lazy. Also, writing my novel, Solstice, is pretty much full time at this point.
I have gotten several questions about my constant references to 'Scar Tissue'. Scar Tissue is a very old Japanese novel that was turned into an anime awhile ago. It was very dark, disturbing, and, in my opinion, insightful and beautiful. I loved the characters and, since fans of the work are hard to come by, I reference them in my gundam wing fanfiction because I can't really post my ST fanfiction on any of the popular archives.
NEW STUFF: I now have a livejournal called thegrackelknows that will contain fanfiction ideas, updates, and much more. I write about five pages a day for fanfics, but obviously only post complete chapters. This livejournal account will enable me to post these pages every day, so for those of you who don't mind reading each chapter a little bit as a time sooner than my larger posts, you can read it there. I'm also hoping for people to vote on fanfiction ideas so I know what to post and what I can put on the back burner. There will also be information on Scar Tissue for those who can't find any information on it (considering it's out of print, I'm not surprised and I don't think that it is available in English, but you can probably find it in some bookstores in Japan) and still wants some.
MORE NEW STUFF (4/22/11): An update, since I haven't updated this profile in a very long time. I no longer have a beta (haven't heard from her in months) and I'm trying my hand at drawing. I have art for original stories and some Gundam Wing fanart, archived at http://www.furaffinity.net/user/shinigamiinochi/ and http://yaoi.y-gallery.net/user/shinigamiinochi/ It's actually a good idea to check both sites. Furaffinity does not have quality control, so I can post sketches the second I'm done with them and have scanned them into the computer, but they don't allow adult art of any character under the age of 18, so Gundam Wing art, and original stories such VSL that feature characters in their teens aren't allowed. Y-Gallery does not have any age restrictions, so if you're looking for VSL or Gundam Wing art, that's the only place you can find it, but they do use quality control, and since scanned images have gray areas, I don't post them there until they're been colored. Which of course means I have a ton of sketches that haven't been posted anywhere.
If anyone knows of a site where I can post sketches that doesn't have quality control or age restrictions, it would be greatly appreciated.
IMPORTANT (10/25): I've been getting a lot of reviews and PMs about why I haven't been updating my work lately, so I've decided to put status updates on my profile. I also have notes of it at my livejournal, but I keep forgetting to post them *wince*. Basically, after getting hounded at by parents and friends about when I'm planning on getting a novel published, I was finally broken down and am currently writing a novel-length erotica about a lonely gay boy who finds himself in a world where fairytales are real. It won't be a monster like TRTK, only six chapters and an epilogue, and I am already finished with the first two chapters and am working my way through the third. I'm probably not going to work on any fanfiction until this endeavor is over, as it often takes years just to find a company willing to publish your work (and I'm not so sure about self-publication), so I really want to finish this thing as soon as I can.
Also, even more importantly, I am in desperate need of a beta for this project. I had two of them at one point, but neither have I heard from in months. What is needed the most right now is someone willing to go through what I've written with a fine toothed comb and discussing with me what should stay and what should go, especially with the first chapter which is too long and I'm not entirely sure even needs to be in the story at all. I need someone reliable, who will actually stick with the project even if it takes several months to complete.
IMPORTANT (11/26): Still haven't found a beta for my novel, but everything else is going very well. I finished nanowrimo yesterday, not as quickly as I had hoped, but I've been working nearly full time thanks to the holidays. I am now on chapter 6 of the novel, which means just that chapter and the epilogue until I'm done! I hope to be done in two to three weeks, and that's being very liberal.
IMPORTANT (12/21): I might have found a beta for the novel, but it's too early to be sure. Still looking for anyone interested. I finished chapter 6 today. It took longer than I had hoped, but I didn't want to rush through it. That means just one more chapter!!! Unfortunately, the epilogue is going to be a bit longer than I had hoped. I realized that I actually HADN'T completely finished my notes on that chapter and when I started to elaborate on things I hadn't in my first draft of notes, I was struck with a bolt of perviness that could not be denied, no matter how much I tried. Not that that's a bad thing. Because of it, I get to write something that I've always wanted to, but hadn't been able to in my fanfiction. Happy days. I'm hoping for a January finish here, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
IMPORTANT (1/10): I have no idea if anyone is reading these profile edits, since I keep getting mail from readers asking why I haven't updated, but for those that care, the epilogue of my novel is at 51% completion, so I'm optimistic about finishing this month. I still need to edit and consider publishing possibilities, but I can do that while working on The Road to Kindness. I hope to polish off most of the epilogue during my two days off in a row this week.
