I don't write and I don't aspire to write, but I love to read. In the summer of 2007, when I was in my post HP and the Deathly Hallows funk, my mother handed me all 13 Stephanie Plum novels with the assurance that I would love them. When I finished reading them all in a row, I was feeling another let down funk when I discovered fan fiction. Now I'm never "funked" out. In fanfiction, the fun just goes on and on!
I am a Babe, but I also love Steph/Lester pairings.
In RL I am a married, stay at home mom in my late 30s. I have 3 wonderful children (wonderful except for those moments when I'd gladly sell them for a glass of wine LOL) who are 10, 8, and 5. We live in the Northeastern US, and I hate cold weather, but spring (when it finally comes) summer and fall here are great. In addition to fan fiction and Janet Evanovich, I like to read anything that is purely entertaining and has a good love story. Okay, sometimes we can skip the love story as long as there is an interesting plot, but the entertainment piece is non negotiable. Maybe someday I will be ready for intellectually stimulating reading again, but given the fact that I've spent the last 10 years raising young children, I figure I deserve some cheap pleasure. I always defend my purely mind candy book preferences by saying that I don't watch any TV (which is true) - I read all of my entertainment.
That's probably enough about me. I just noticed that as I've begun to review stories, people have been checking my profile. Wondering who the heck I am, I'm sure, so I thought I put a little info out there. Thanks so much for all your writing. I am enjoying every minute of it!
