Author has written 4 stories for Harry Potter.
I'm Emily, and I've been writing fanfiction for about 5 years.
For the past year or so, and more so since I've started college, writing hasn't been coming to me as easily. Real life took over, and other things took precedence over fanfic. I have so many pieces of fics written, both in the Harry Potter and Twilight fandoms, but I cannot seem to finish them. The endings are all planned out, the words just won't come. I write a little every now and then, and I do hope to eventually finish my stories.
As far as reading fic goes, I will read pretty much any pairing as long as the grammar, writing, character development, and plot line is good. The more I've read over the past few years, I've realized that the whole purpose of fanfiction is to explore what didn't happen in the book. Limiting myself to certain pairings would be cutting myself off from some really brilliant stories.
Other than Harry Potter and Twilight, I will pretty much read anything. I love Barbara Kingsolver, John Irving, and Tolkein. Sci-fi and fantasy are also genres I've realized I really like as well.
