![]() Author has written 198 stories for Firefly, Chuck, Supernatural, Bones, Castle, and Doctor Who. I’ve been asked more than once for a list of my Firefly stories in the order in which they should be read, and I’m afraid to say I’ve been procrastinating. But the ointment cleared that right up, so here it is. First of all let me say that there is a single story of Mal/Inara, entitled Opening Doors, which was written as an experiment to see if I could create a more canon tale, and I believe it to be successful. There’s also a one off for them called Time. The majority of the rest are constructed around the pairing of Mal and Freya, the latter of whom is my major OC. The early stories are okay, but they do improve, so keep reading! To be read in this order: New Beginnings : Ties that Bind : Slaves : Blues and Greys : Dreams of Home : Christmas Presents : Power, Passion, Enlightenment : Friend in Need : Enough : Lazy Day : Curiosity : Bug : Portrait : Ebb & Flow : Programming : Baby : Sleepless Night : Brothers : Proposal : Life’s Shadows : Unification Day : Birthday : Illumination : Worry : Shadow : Solomon : Vows : Kaylee’s Birthday : Arguments & Commitments : Meditation : Lost : Ghosts : Conversations : Christmas : 173 : Wedding : Transit : Poseidon : Interludes : Possibilities : Trimesters : The Nursery : Moving On : Arrivals : Nice to Meet New Folk : Salvage : Bath Night : Coming of Age : The Hunt : Life Goes On : Aftermath : Love : Communication : Monty’s Place : Sweet Sorrow : Nightingale : Lark : Eden : Paquin : After Paquin : Waiting : Lazarus : Stealing a Kiss : Lazarene Days : Serenity Nights : Not There Yet : The Bequest : Growing into Them : Snake in the Grass : Needs : Calluses : The Morning After : Letters : Understanding the Why : Baby Talk : Chainwave : Hope : Nightwatch : Senses : Shadow’s Graveyard : Homeward Bound : Tangled Web : Saying : In the Moment : Turning the Corner : Get of the Unicorn : Third Chance : Air Flow : Playing Parts : Like Woman, a Mystery : Four : Good Myth : Tall Ship : Home : Lifesize : World Without End : Slender Thread : Broken : Fixed : Ordinary Day : Addiction : Cats & Dogs : Dancing in the Dark : Old Habits : Volcano's Edge : Games : Prospero's Legacy : Fancies and Fripperies : Dead Man's Chest : Kith & Kin : Ripples : Jericho Wells : A Perfect Day : Masks : Interludes II : Indigo (on-going) There are also a few oddments that don’t necessarily fit into this scheme of things: War Mal – Recollections : Battle Hymn : Auld Lang Syne : Thanksgiving Mal and Zoe (friendship) – Pretending : Other Lives : Captain or King Mal and River (friendship) – Counting Mal and Jayne (friendship) - Grenades : Channel Hopping Mad : Frosty the Mercenary : Assumption : Christmas Gift Mal and Jayne (one and only sly venture!) - Homecoming Young Mal – Becoming : Up in the Wraiths Jayne – Memories : Jayne’s Kid : Streets of Laredo Jayne and River - Two for Joy : For Next Time : Choices : Everyone Has to Have a Hobby : Mace : Timing Simon – Sly Book – Book Pre-BDM – Cargo Cult : All You Can Eat For Five Credits Futurefic - Attraction And just to make things even more confusing, there is a small series inspired by BadKarma’s Rules stories – The Couch : Gorram Babysitter : Consequences. Oh, and a sequel to his story The Long Night entitled Dawn’s Cusp. Remembering this doesn’t take into account my Castle (which are growing), Chuck, Supernatural, Dr Who and Bones contributions! I hope this helps, and if I’ve missed any, please forgive me. (And just to whet your appetite, still to come is the current story I am working on, which includes good and bad news for Inara, bounty hunters, Mal being Mal ...) Personal Profile: I don't know how many people actually read profiles, so I could lie through my teeth and say I'm a petite, willowy blonde who works as a dental technician, but suffice it to say none of those things are true. I'm a tall brunette, with a curvy figure, and at the moment I work for a large medical products company as a senior customer services co-ordinator, but am always looking for something that pays a great deal of money and not a lot of work so I can write instead! I trained to act, but I'm one of the many thousands who didn't make it through lack of luck, so I have to make a living somehow. What I plan on doing is becoming a published author, and making my fortune that way! Then a producer will take an option on my book, there'll be a script, and hopefully I can have casting couch approval ... (Talking of which, I recently completed a novel that I intend to send to various publishers, so watch this space!) As for my interests, they're the usual: writing (of course), TV, films, travel, occasional exercise, drawing, reading ... very boring! I have a (very) extensive DVD collection, and love adventure, sci-fi (Firefly in particular), thrillers, westerns (hmn, back to Firefly now!), crime dramas, dark comedy, with just the occasional love story thrown in for good measure. About the only thing I don't watch is horror (although I do like tongue-through-cheek horror-light, like SLITHER), but I do like to be entertained. My fiction here is likewise written for entertainment only, so read and enjoy! Oh, and ... if you can ... leave a comment. It makes a grey day bright! |
