Jeremy has been actively catching up with assembly his pals with visits to E, a lunch with Jasper and R’s go to to look at the Community Shield match. Our mixture (anniversary/birthday) dinner at the Italian restaurant on the 31st flooring of the Regal Hotel in Causeway Bay was fairly funny. There were 4 other tables celebrating birthdays.
Suffice it to say, the opposite birthday candles (including Daddy’s) were conventional ones. Jeremy determined that the mixture of strawberry and custard that we had for dessert tastes like banana. The bill came to the same as the cheque from the tax man. The money found behind a taxi paid for half the trip again residence from Sha Tin.
No working this week – it’s been dangerously hot! Dominic began his driving lessons - so no working for him. Jeremy’s first swimming session at college was as unhealthy as expected, with the youngsters compelled to swim 40 widths in all the major strokes (even when they couldn’t do them). Despite this explosion of exercise, he put on extra weight - topping 103lbs. It wasn’t because of the sushi from Food Tech.
The first cake had a type of sprinkler candles on it. Unfortunately, it was so powerful it set off the hearth alarm (luckily the sprinklers didn’t go off). From our vantage level we might see two fireplace engines racing in direction of us, however we thought nothing of it. The two firemen that turned up on the restaurant appeared a little bemused, to say the least.
Strangely Mummy simultaneously announced that she had misplaced some weight (as a result of some kind of switch?). Daddy added weight to our checking account with a big call on a put warrant. The week was dominated by what Jeremy described was his worst camp ever due to the horrid weather. His year travelled by bus all the way in which to Tai O on Lantau and made their orange six foot sq. tents. He had to switch partner with home-sick Daryl.
He then helped make a raft out of rubber rings with four others kids, however it collapsed after they have been paddling it within the sea. The youngsters needed to tread water till three adults in canoes dragged them back to shore. They have been fairly far out but they had been wearing life jackets.
